High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics
Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:
Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.
Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.
Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.
Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.
the issue has been resolved by Appple in macOSX 10.13.4
Please upgrade to resolve the issue

Since 22.1 update I am having issues with this, every Illustrator file opens with black screen until I manually switch to CPU.

This thread is about GPU rendering issues with RGB document. I have created a new post to track it better: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/33845587-high-sierra-macos-10-13-gpu-rendering-issues-wit
I can confirm you Apple is still working with Intel on CMYK issues

@stefan
That doesn’t seem right. I have a 2016 15” base model with dedicated graphics card and it works flawlessly. I had this issue with a 2016 13” model before trading it for the 15” model. I thought the issue was with the integrated graphics card along with some older dedicated graphics cards. -

Add the 2017 15" MacBook Pro to your list, just sent mine in for graphical distortion....in many apps even illustrator it a repetitive issue it seems....
Integrated - Intel HD Graphics 630
Dedicated - AMD Radeon Pro 560 Graphics with 4GB GGDR5 Memory** (the news around Apple is that its Intel's fault for making bad chips, so they are working on making there own...)

I installed Illustrator CC2018 and thought it was the version I downloaded, even I thought it could be an issue with my computer, then I installed version CC2017 hoping to fix the problem but I'm still having the same issue. My computer is an iMac 21'' High Sierra 10.13.2 Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5. If someone knows how to fix it please share! (I'm currently using version Illustrator CC 2017)

@Alex yes, I was lucky enough to find someone who would trade a 15" 2016 base model for my 13" 2016 top model. It fixed the issue. The issue is with the iris integrated graphics and Adobe. Has nothing to do with MacOS.

Can anyone tell me whether switching from a MacBook Pro 13" (version 2017) to a 15" resolved the issue? Theoretically it should, but did it? Thanks.

I own a 2,000 dollars MacBook Pro and pay 60 dollars to Adobe every month, and I can't even render illustrator properly.
Just want to let you guys know that I have to listen to gospel music during work to calm my **** down. -

Same bug with GPU preview on my Surface Pro 4 with Intel i7 6650u/ Intel Iris 540. Disabling GPU preview helps, but then performance sucks.

Vector Shapes Splitting, Cracking Up. Zoom in, zoom out—it changes but only morphs. Happens when drawing (or just viewing) with Ai 2018 CC.
