High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics
Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:
Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.
Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.
Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.
Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.
the issue has been resolved by Appple in macOSX 10.13.4
Please upgrade to resolve the issue

Also having this problem. This is a pretty huge bug. I appreciate the update on January 1st but some sort of estimated timeline would help too.

I'm having exactly the same problems. Brand new MacBook Pro 13" touchbar. Is almost impossible to work in illustrator and indesign almost as bad... why hasn't this been fixed? A "work around" isn't a fix.

The CMYK "fix" isn't completely waterproof either. Certain artworks in groups still show the zoom bug. This is a serious time wasting issue...

Hi everyone! If Color Mode not too important for you, so try switch to CMYK (File->Document Color Mode -> CMYK Color). Rendering problems appears only in RGB. It helped on my laptop.

Extremely frustrating. I am right there with you all below. Trying to design wedding invites for a client and the rendering is absolutely dreadful. I am on a spec'd out 2017 MacBook Pro 13" with Touchbar and thought buying the new machine would enhance my Illustrator productivity and not detract from it. PLEASE patch this, because I am going to have to delay my client on these - it is unworkable.

Mine does this too! Its so frustrating! Luckily when I actually save the design, it looks fine, but this is so frustrating while editing. I am using Mac OS 10.13.2 on a MacBook pro (13 inch, 2016, four thunderbolt 3 ports) 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 with 16 gb RAM and Intel Iris Graphics 550. I am on version 22.0.1 Hopefully this is enough info for you to help me with it, Sarah Khan?

It's been 2018 and adobe is bringing flaws from 2017 over to 2018. How can this haven't been resolved yet? What a shame.

This issue has existed for months and was not limited to this version, nor is it limited to Illustrator. There are rendering issues that affect the entire suite of CC applications. For example, in Photoshop I can hide a layer, but it remains visible until I select a new layer in the layer palette. In InDesign, the rendering issues are very similar to those in Illustrator. This should be a #1 priority given the $70 / month I'm dropping on what becomes increasingly buggy and bloated software. The codebase IS NOT CLEAN!

Same problem here . MacBook Pro 13" 2017 with Touchbar, latest version of AI... it is sooo annoying. Ilustrator also keeps on freezing and at one point my MacBook shuts down, restarts, and all the unsaved files are gone. Great. Please fix this asap and keep us updated! We are all waiting since several months ..

I'm using the current version of Illustrator on CC (22.0.1). I believe the problem corresponded with me updating to MacOS High Sierra Version 10.13.2. Illustrator started to do the attached constantly - glitchy view of vector shapes. I have screenshotted me zooming in and out of the file. Could this problem please be addressed? And could I please be emailed about it? Many thanks, Lauren

How can a big company as Adobe sell such a flawed product and not being able to fix it for months?
This is what you can expect by a dodgy cracked version of Illustrator, not by the licensed one.
This is embarassing for me, that I feel scammed, and for Adobe that doesn't have the dignity to refund even partially their customers for the huge inconvenient caused. -

I agree with the other users commenting on this. I think its dreadful how nothing has been done to fix this issue and it is completely affecting workflow. Definitely not something you would expect when paying a large amount of money for a program supposed to be high quality.
Please fix these or I (and I am sure many other users) will take our custom elsewhere. All users affected should be offered our money back for the last few months of not being able to use Illustrator efficiently- or at least some sort of compensation.

Having the exact same issue. I switched on the CPU preview and it's better on the rendering, but far slower.
