Pressure option for brush is greyed out in AI while using Wacom Tablet
Adobe Illustrator CC 22.0.0
Ever since the new update, every time I'm trying to change my paintbrush to pressure sensitive option from the drop down list box, the 'pressure ' option is greyed out and can't be selected. 'Fixed' and 'random' are the only ones that aren't greyed out.
How can I set the pressure senstivity option on?
Please help.

Have the same problem. Works good in Photoshop, but Illustrator just doesn't care about me wanting to add pressure to the brush.
I think The Adobe team has messed up lots of things in the 2019 release. So many bugs and issues! Not happy. -

I have the same problem. Everything was fine until I updated to illustrator 19. I am using a Wacom intuos pro tablet. I had the options previously and now they are randomly gone. I have tried to reset Adobe settings, my wacom preferences, and uninstalling and installing different drivers for the tablet. Nothing works.

When I try and edit a selected brush to the pressure option it's grayed out and unavailable. I have made sure my Wacomb driver is up to date and have updated my Ai cc to the 23.0 version (2019)

I've been able to set pressure on a brush with only a magic mouse... now it will not allow it?

I am also having this issue as well. I have the latest update of Adobe Illustrator as of July 7, and uninstalled and reinstalled the latest update of Wacom Cintiq driver for my iMac's operating system. (This was the solution suggested on a similar post with this problem on this forum) Please help.

Hi Marco,
Pressure option get enabled only when pressure sensitive stylus and driver is present in the system, please share your stylus and driver details to share with ai (at) adobe.com
- Please remove spaces from share with ai and replace (at) with @-Rama
