Can not export to png or jpg
When I try to export to jpg I get this error that comes up to lower my resolution. I have tried lowering it to 150dpi and still does not work.
When I try to export to png it comes up with an unknown error "(!now)"
This is ridiculous as I should be able to export from illustrator at any dpi without these issues as this is an expensive professional product.

Hi all,
I've been receiving the same error message today, and it's incredibly frustrating. I don't have an answer, BUT the workaround I used today was to save the Illustrator file as a high quality PDF, then open that with Photoshop and save the file as a PNG, as originally intended. I hope this helps some of you, because I've been trying to find an actual answer all day!

User here running Illustrator within a Citrix session on Server 2016 - getting the exact same error.
Her colleague uses the same server within an isolated session under his own name, and were unable to recreate the problem. This suggests its a profile issue.

Hi I have tried the export with artboard option selected but I am still getting an error message "This Operation Cannot Be Completed Because of an unknown error [!now]" when I try to export the .ai file as .png at 300 dpi. Its worth mentioning that I don't get this error at 150 DPI or lower
