Illustrator 2019 won't quit (thinks a window is open) & all the menus are in disabled state.
Hello,
I updated to Illustrator 2019 today, and I have gone to close it down but the option is greyed out in the file menu.
If I click anywhere it makes the error noise as if I have got an open window.
This seems to be a glitch with the latest software release.
Thanks
I am glad to update that this issue was fixed in 23.1 release.
Thank you for all the feedback.

Illustrator CC 2019 – Menus all grayed out
I'm on Mac. I've deleted the preferences multiple times and at first all the menus work properly. However, if I switch to one of my Workspaces, they gray out again. If I don't switch to an existing Workspace, but try to rearrange palettes to get set to save a New Workspace, at some point the menus gray out again. Even Quit is grayed out, so I'm forced to Force Quit each time. It's debillitating, ugh. -

Yup, it's a bug. I have a lot of Illustrator 2019 menu items grayed out. However, the shortcuts for those items still work! Such as viewing outline mode. Cmd-Y will still toggle it, but if I click the menu item, nothing happens. A bunch of them gray out and occasionally come back. So I would say, try Cmd (Ctrl) Q and see if that works.
