lastest update crashes CONSTANTLY
Just updated to version 23.0 via CC panel and Illustrator won't run more than 2 minutes at a time without crashing. I can't keep it open long enough to determine if there's a specific trend or problem. Selecting any tool from any palette, or trying to move an object on the art board, or while typing... just locks up no matter what I do. VERY FRUSTRATING.
For what it's worth, I'm on Windows 10 with 32 gb of RAM running 64 bit version of Illustrator. Never crashed before the update.
Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

I have the same issue, but it seems to happen most when I try to save the document. There's a cruel irony to it.

I had a very similar issue with my Illustrator 5.5. on my Mac.
This is what I did..., I finally over came it by updating the system to Mac OS Mojave. I then had to go into the apple website and install Java SE6 runtime. It worked. I had No crashing at all afterwards :) -

Adobe should have been able to resolve these crashing issues already as they because they have been in business for a long time. Obsviously they cant resolve these issues but neither can other software comapanies which is bizarre. I think things are faster using analog methods.

Turned off GPU acceleration in preferences and that seems to have put an end to my crashes... so far.

Must have something to do with my Nvidia video card. Keeps crashing but now I get this error message, "Can't Finish Previewing." So I updated drivers and Illustrator still crashed within 2 minutes.
