Gradient issue on import
When exporting PDFs from indesign that contain a gradient, then opening the PDF into illustrator, the gradient completely vanishes. Tried placing the PDF into illustrator and it previews but if embedded or flattened, it disappears. Tried straight copy and paste form indesign into illustrator and nothing. This has never been an issue before and is required when printing as clients often supply indesign files and the print RIP requires illustrator etc. etc.

We are not able to reproduce the issue in house , Kindly provide following info to nail down this issue:
1)Kindly let us know which Illustrator and Indesign Version you are using.
2)Kindly provide Video , Test File , Steps and share with us at ShareWithAI@adobe.com in a Zip file. Please mention the title of this issue as the subject of the mail.
