Libraries Panel broken
Although the Libraries panel is open, I cannot select another library, it's stuck on the same one. When I pull up the menu to choose another and click on it, nothing changes. Been like this for a few weeks now.
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

August 2021 - I've had this issue for it feels like over a year now. When will this be fixed?

Same problem still happening in July 2021. This seems like a pretty important function to be completely failing for this long, in a subscription paid product. When does Adobe start handing out refunds for their products failing?

Same here. The panel freezes several times a day without fail.

I am also experiencing this issue currently in Illustrator and it is extremely frustrating when you go through the trouble of creating a library of colors/fonts and then can't use them for anything... Please fix

The problem persists with 25.3.1 - and it is beyond annoying. A quick question to fellow designers - why are we writing here, do you think that Adobe cares to look here?

I have been finding the same problems as described here - oddly sized assets, OR the panel freezes entirely.
I am using a relatively cheap second monitor which I believe is causing the problem.
Quick hack but NOT a solution if you're using a second monitor -
1 - unplug your HDMI monitor cable BEFORE opening illustrator.
2 - open Illustrator
3 - Then plug HDMI cable in, turn on monitor - Illustrator Libraries should now work as expected. You can obviously then move Illustrator up to your monitor window or wherever ... but the monitor needs to be OFF when you open Illustrator.

Thank goodness its not just me then. Exactly the same issue. Library works for maybe 10mins then I look back and its massive or I change and the library and its frozen. Continually upgrading to see if fixed but it never is.

Im having the exact same issue! This is happening on my MacBook Pro with Ai 25.3.1 but not on my iMac with the same version. It started immediately after updating and nothing fixes it. I've re-started, reinstalled and cleared caches.
Screen recording attached. Black = left click, Green = right clock.

I am STILL having this issue, only way to get it to work again in to completely quit illustrator and open it again.. it then just crashes a bit later anyway and the cycle continues. Massively disrupts workflow!!

I am still having issues with this on my work computer, it is very disruptive to my workflow and I can only fix it by saving and exiting AI, and restarting...usually to have it freeze again in 10 mins. Has there been a solution?

Happening to me as well. Illustrator 25.3.1 on Big Sur. Only in illustrator. Libraries work perfectly fine in Photoshop. My current work around is to right-click a vector library item in photoshop and select Edit so that it opens in Illustrator and then I copy/paste it into the file I need it in. Definitely not ideal.

I'm using Illustrator (25.3.1) on Catalina (10.15.3) and Illustrator's library has been either not loading or freezing after two minutes of having Illustrator open. My libraries work fine in Photoshop and InDesign. It's just Illustrator.

This is still happening even after latest update, I have to restart my adobe apps about 15 times a day which is annoying when deadlines are tight.
