Font styles applied to portions of text 'slide' / shift positions when area type overflows
Illustrator 29.7.1 on Mac Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91)
I dont' know whether it's related to this current issue, but now I have parts of my text that change appearance when I'm trying to change the Font weight of another part, or when I try to type more text.
The workaround I have found it copy-pasting the text into a new Textbox. But still, this needs to be fixed.

This issue has been fixed in Beta 29.9.6 (and further). Please check and share your feedback.

When reducing the text block, artifacts appear in version 29.7.1. There were no problems in previous versions!

Not sure if this is related to the same bug, but... I noticed that, when reducing the size of a text box to less than the amount of text there is, the fonts simply invert between bold and regular on display, even if the fonts still register the correct one on the character menu. See the video attached. This is getting ridiculous!

For some reason I cannot upload an AI-file. Can you tell me how to do that?

Hello Egor, thank you for your quick response.
Please find attached a test file and a video. In the textbox is a bullet in WIngdings and some text in Verdana in 39pt, with left identation of 36 pt and first line identation of -36pt. When I change the fontsize to 40pt, the complete first line changes to Wingdings.
It happens also when changing the fontsize from larger (48) to smaller (40), depending on the size of the textbox, as in my first message.René

René, I can’t reproduce it from scratch... The font doesn’t 'propagate' to change the whole line.
Can you please share a test fil and record a video to show how it works at your size and what do you do exactly? -

When I change the font size of a text box with 2 different fonts, the fonts get mixed up.
Example: a text with the first character in Windings font, and the rest in Verdana font, spanning 3 lines, all in size 48. When I change the fontsize to 40, the complete top line changes to Wingdings, and not only the first character.
It seems related to an older problem: Font changes from the current one to the previously used while typing.

However, turning off 'Enable missiging glyph protection' seems not te be a work-around, as it were in that case. This is happening since today's update (version 29.71) or maybe before. After downgrading I found this problem is not present in version 29.4. This problem is really annoying, please fix it.
