Pen tool rapidly changes to selection tool arrow glitch
Pen tool rapidly changes to selection tool arrow when I move the cursor. OS 10.14.3 / Ai CC 23.0.2. On wacom tablet. The pen tool icon changes every micro-second to the selection tool icon and back again. Very hard to work this way. If I more my stylus even a tiny bit it happens. I have the pen tool selected in the toolbox.

Gradient tool slider bug
When I select a shape, or multiple shapes and add a gradient, ever since updating to CC 2019, I do not get an adjustment slider in the shape. Am I doing it wrong? Where did the slider go? Help!

Undoing Warp Tool Transforms
Software Details:
Windows 10 / Ver. 1809 / OS Build 17763.316 / Illustrator Ver. 23.0.2Steps Taken:
a. Selecting Warp tool (or any other from the warp tools palette)
b. Selecting an object
c. Warping the object either once or repeatedly
d. Undoing all warps to restore original shape.Expected Result
The undo command would undo my actionsActual Result
Although the outline that appears when hovering over the object had returned to the anticipated state after the necessary number of undos, the object itself remained unaltered - sometimes disappearing. Subsequent undos would only affect prior actions on other objects.…

Dragging new objects
When dragging in a new shape, it does so at an angle
1 voteThis most probably happens because the Constrain Angle value in Preferences > General is set to be something else than 0°.

Free transform not scaling correctly
When scaling a stroke with Free Transform it jumps to a ~30º angle (pics attached). this happens without holding Shift etc. All I want to do is extend the stroke.
Smart Guides is turned on, I've tried turning off/on Bounding Box (no luck) and turned off "Enable Content Aware Defaults" in prefs.
I'm on MacOS HIgh Sierra with CC 2019. I've never experienced this before

Dégradé de forme libre / Freeform Lines / bug
Bonjour, j'utilise le nouvelle outil dégradé de forme libre avec plaisir. Cependant, je rencontre un problème récurrent : lorsque je sélectionne un objet contenant un dégradé de forme libre contenant 4 points et 2 couleurs, l'un des points disparait systématiquement. J'ai vérifié si l'un des points étaient en dehors de l'objet, ce n'est pas le cas. Je rencontre ce problème sur plusieurs objet, dans des documents différents. Est-ce un bug ? Avez-vous une solution à ce problème ? Merci

Pen tool located in type tools
Took me a while to find but found the pen tool hanging out with the type tools. Please stop fixing things that are not broken. I remember before CC things works pretty well. Now every time there's an update, some other bugs pop up that weren't there before. Is this just a way for engineer job security? Well whatever it is, its becoming a major pain.

Hi,
There was an issue in 23.0 causing tools to shift between groups. This has been fixed in latest update (23.0.2). After update, please reset the Basic and Advanced toolbars by opening the tool drawer (3 dots at bottom of the tool bar), then using ‘Reset’ from the fly-out menu (on top right).

Illustrator loses focus after editing in group
When a group is double clicked to edit inside (isolation mode), on leaving isolation mode the Illustrator application loses focus and clicking on any tool has no effect. To regain focus the icon in the Windows Taskbar has to be clicked.

Opening info panel will crash pen tool!
If you use the pen tool and open the inof panel, Illustrator draws completely wired lines! What a bug...

Holding pen tool only two options pops up
While on holding pen tool no add anchor points there
I searched whole pannel but did not get. You will better understand me when you find in the attachments below.

Whenever I use my Pen tool now, wherever I hold the tool, doesn't allow me to click at that spot, it will draw 1cm above/below my click.

1 voteMost probably you have a Snap enabled: to grid (in View menu) or to Pixel (in the top right corner of the Control panel ort in Properties panel).
Please check this.

Tools not snapping or showing blue line path or anchor points
The Pen and Direct Tool are not snapping or showing the blue line path when drawing with the tools (Pen tool, Curvature tool, Direct Selection Tool) I have googled forums to see what the issue and it seems to be something that happens when the software is updated every so often or something like that, and shortly before I encountered this issue about 10 minutes ago my software got an update... please fix this :(

Expanded pucker/bloat effect is a circle or ellipse in SVG
Windows 10, Illustrator 23.0.1
- Create a circle or an equilateral rectangle.
- Apply the Pucker & Bloat effect; either one will do.
- Expand appearance. Check that the effects are now regular paths.
- File > Save As > SVG Result: Either check the saved SVG or view the code. The shape that was a circle will be generated as a circle, the rectangle will be an ellipse.
Expected result: The SVG displays the paths as they appear in Illustrator.

Dragging multiple groups by text anchor deselects other groups.
See attached video. With multiple groups selected, clicking and dragging by one of the group's text anchor deselects all other groups. Only the group with the selected text gets moved.

Bug: Cannot scale a horizontal line via center box handle
Hi,
in Ai CC2019 I cannot scale a horizontal line via the center box handle. The only way to it, is to use the direct selection tool (A).

ILLUSTRATOR CRUSHES WHEN I CLICK ON THE BRUSH TOOL.
Illustrator crushes everytime I click on the brush tool. I have reinstalled the Illustrator and its not working. I am using a hp z800 running windows 10 with Nvidia Quadro K2000 as my gpu. Please Please Help

Hi Adobe,
I downloaded the new illustrator, 2019 version. Happy to see that the eyedropper tool can adopt colors from images again.
However the BlendTool seems to be different. In earlier versions it was possible to ajust the line on which you blended certain shapes... It appeared between the shapes as a loose vector line. This line is gone now, the only thing I can ajust are the shapes which I blended.. Can you guys fix this again in an update?Thanks! Bjorn.

Guides disappear until file is reopened
I've created an isometric grid for illustration and converted the grid lines to guides. When I leave my document open for a while (maybe an hour or more) and come back to it after a lull in activity, my guides seem to be gone. The "Guides" item in the "View" menu is grayed out, and the keyboard shortcut Cmd+Shift+; to toggle guides on and off does not work. Nothing is hidden or locked in my document. Closing and reopening the document immediately fixes the issue, with guides toggling on off when prompted. There's clearly a bug here, figured I should…

Wacom incaccuracy when resizing objects
Wacom (Intuos5 - L - newest drivers)
Clean OSX high sierra
MBPPRO mid2015
New illustartorThere is some bug with precise operating with wacom.
I can't resize simple object with bounding box.When i try to do this, in 99% cases object is rotating instead of resizing.
When i use trackpad - there is no problem.
cc, cc2017 / 18 / 19 Still innacurate precision.
