Slow/Won't Export/Won't Save
Have the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC and the errors and error message are constant when exporting and saving.

SVG Export
AI 22.1. 64-bit Windows 10
The SVG export is much better in this new version of AI. However, on some art boards it is still missing some components. However, if I select the art board, then choose Save As SVG, it displays the components, but it is a much larger file. I will upload this AI file, which has 12 art boards. It is Art Board #11 that is not exporting properly when I press Ctrl+Alt+E. This image has 6 green bars, but 3 of those bars are not showing up in the image. Can't work on a server - crashing and not saving files
I recently updated my OS to High Sierra V. 10.13.3 and have Illustrator CC18 22.0.1. I work on a server and at first, every time I tried to resave a file for the second time it would crash. Now all of a sudden I am able to save once and when I try to save the second time it says it can't and I have to save the file with a new name. It also keeps making .tmp files. If I work off of my server on my desktop this does not happen.

Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) "Beachball of Death" Crash Anytime I try to Save! HELP!
I've seen this issue in other spots but can't understand why it's not resolved. I've attached an error log in Word.

High Sierra rearranged PDF Preset order
After updating my Mac to High Sierra, the PDF export presets are all in seemingly random order with no way to rearrange them. This isn't true in any other CC application.

EPS saving as AI or PDF bug
Hi When saving an EPS file to either AI or PDF downloaded from a stock site I have had issues with both the on screen preview and print from InDesign. When I save it as an EPS again it appears to regain the proper appearance both on screen and in print. Is there a transparency issue when converting an EPS to AI or PDF?

Jagged edges and ghost dashed lines when exporting
When exporting a dashboard to jpg or png some gohst white/yellowish outlines appear.
I use plain color without outlines but the outlines appear while zooming in the screen and when I export the artwork. The problem seems to be related to black colorAlso, I used a plain dark red and it is exported as stripped lines fill .
I attach examples of exported images. They were exported with the best quality. I updated the software today (november the 2nd 2017)

Serious Bug: Corrupted Files
When I load my files that I previously created AI 2017, into AI 2018, some of them load properly, at least as far as I can see, but some of them are giving me an error. The corrupted files show me a dialog box for Text Import Options. If I click Cancel, then the file doesn't load, but if I click OK, then it shows no images, but instead shows the following:

Transparency mask is displayed partially, with bars, exporting error
When using transparency mask, strange bars of masked areas appear in the artwork. This error occurs in when I export the graphic as a jpeg, etc.

Meta data in SVG file ignored
Meta data defined in a svg file are ignored by AI when opening file so no more available once the file is saved. Option shall allow keep or ignore meta data in an svg file to avoid broking the file.

No DPI resolution in export file when export for screens
When export I use export for screen, there is no DPI resolution in the exported files.
Illustrator 21.1.0 - macOS
1. Create a new document
2. Create a simple element like a rectangle with 200 x 200 pixel
3. Set the document size to 200 x 200 pixel
4. Export it for screens
5. Generate 3 diffrent files with the scale factor of 29, 58 and 87 pixel
6. Save / Export the files
7. Open the file in preview or Photoshop

Illustrator won't open more than one file at a time.
I have version 21.1.0 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 (more system details in attached png). I am not able to open more than one file at a time. What happens:
- I open a file.
- I double click to open another AI file (other file opening methods have same results).
- Nothing happens. One file remains open. I might see the spinner mouse for a sec but the second file never opens.
- If I try to close the first file, leaving Illustrator open, and open a new file, Illustrator becomes unresponsive and I have to close it via the Task Manager.

FILE Corruption - Illustrator will not open AI files. Adobe CC/Windows 10.
just trying to open AI files to work in ILLUSTRATOR. POS won't open. After reboot, won't open. How was the subscription model supposed to be better?

SVG fehlende Pfade beim öffnen/importieren

Illustrator 30.7SVG wird nicht korrekt geöffnet/importiert, es fehlen Pfade!
Wenn die Datei vorher in Inkscape neu gespeichert wird z.B. als PDF ist alles vorhanden.(leider kann das svg nicht angehängt werden!?)

Saving AI to EPS, different outcome when opened in photoshop
Sonoma 14.8.7
Illustrator 30.6
I saved a multi spread AI document as single pdf files. Each spread contains one specific number.
I open one eps-file in illustrator the expected number (50) appears.
I open the same eps-file in photoshop a different number appears.

No reliable AutoSave - Cloud files constantly falling out of sync
I saw another thread on this from 2023. It is 2026 and this issue persists...
I am using the latest version of Illustrator on Windows.When I work on a new project, sometimes the AIC file simply stops autosaving. For whatever reason, it falls out of sync - which, for me, is not the issue - I guess it's understandable that sometimes files get corrupted, or are too big, or something in the sync fails. I don't understand the technicalities behind it, but I can understand it happens.
My issue is, the fact that there is no BIG pop up…

SVG output is wrong size
I have to create SVG files for work, and they MUST have specific dimensions. I've been using Ai 2023 with zero problems. When I "View SVG Code" the width, height, and viewBox values are all correctly set to the size of the artboard.
I've been avoiding upgrading for obvious reasons, but the other day I decided to try out Ai 2026. Thank GOD I installed a new instance and kept 2023! I had to generate an SVG and the size is WRONG. It appears to be using the OBJECT size, not the ARTBOARD size as it should.

Illustrator 2026 embeds each duplicate bitmap image separately in PDFs, causing extremely large files
Mac Studio M2 Ultra, Tahoe 26.5.1
Illustrator 2026 embeds duplicate instances of the same bitmap separately when saving a PDF, causing the PDF size to increase with every duplicate.
To test this, I used one 2000 × 2000 PNG file that is 7.5 MB. I placed it once, duplicated the placed object a total of 9 times, and saved the same layout as a PDF using comparable settings in Illustrator 2025, Illustrator 2026, and InDesign 2026.
Results:
Illustrator 2025 version 29.8, Adobe PDF Library 17: 8 MB
Illustrator 2026 version 30.3, Adobe PDF Library 18: 71 MB

Vector shape out of place after saving as SVG
This is about the version 30.6. After saving the illustration as SVG, some elements got out of place.
As you'll see on the attachment, the black elements should be aligned to the road lanes.

Export for Screens Inaccurate on Large-Size Canvas
The export for screens, scaling by width option does not always export at the right size. For example, I will input 2000 pixels, but the exported images will be 20,000 pixels. Sometimes, it does output 2000 pixels as desired. I believe the pattern may be whether the file is a large-sized canvas or not, the large-size canvas being the inaccurate export. For the time, I have been using "200" to get 2,000 pixels. However, this feature is essential for exporting mockups of large-format prints as the true size is too large for sharing.
