Editing Character Styles Does Not Trigger Content Change
Renaming a character style does not trigger content change.
Thus, the asterisk does not appear above the file name (indicating content change), File/Save or CMD/CTRL-S are ineffective, and if one closes and re-opens the file the old names are still there.
Have not checked Paragraph styles, or styles in other Adobe apps, but assume this bug would present there as well.

Colored text randomly changing to black
Mac OS 10.12.6 with Illustrator CC 2019
Since December text has been randomly changing to black. It happens with bullets more frequently, but sometimes two words in a paragraph will turn black. This happens frequently when I reopen files but also while I'm working.
Sometimes (but not always) when I change the color back with the eyedropper, it still shows up black in the Appearance panel (see photo).
My 2 coworkers are also having this issue.
I don't know if it's related, but I'm also having a problem with cutting (CTRL-X) objects. Simple shapes and text will temporarily not allow…

Paragraph styles not properly justifying
I'm using the latest updated version of CC on mac High Sierra 10.13.6
When I just use the justify option in the paragraph window, the type will justify properly, but when I've tried to create a paragraph style, the type hangs outside of the text box, no matter what I do.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug issue? And if so, any workarounds? I'm working on a file that needs a lot of type, and Illustrator is preferred over InDesign (which I've never had a problem with).

Type resizing issue in Illustrator CC 2019 v23.0.1
If I try to change the point size of a typeface on type that is indeed selected (any typeface - not specific to any one in particular), while I can select or type in a specific size in the type "window" (cmd T to open, or I just open it from my docked windows) it has no effect on the actual size. I can change the size using the panel across the top (see attached screen cap) just fine.
This just started happening today. I've done no updates related to my OS (latest version for Mac of Mojave) or Illustrator.

Text edits have no undo, do not trigger file as updated
When editing a block of text. Back delete key does not work and forward delete key deletes from start of block instead of cursor/insertion point. Text has to be highlighted to be deleted. Undo for deleted text is unavailable. Document does not indicate any changes and can be closed without a save dialog and thus losing edits.

Editing text in Illustrator 2019 is so difficult -- there's a heavy lag, and it is incredibly frustrating. This is size 12 font, small file -- there is no reason why editing this text should be lagging, and I've noticed others having the same problem. Please fix this ASAP!

Cursor disapears when against text frame
Cursor can not be seen when at the beginning of a sentence as it blends in with text box. Please make text cursor larger/wider.

spell check english
My Illustrator is set to default language English USA but it always does spell check in Spanish. I make sure that it is checked for English in the character tab, but even after changing it to English, my spell check goes back to Spanish. I am running Illustrator CC 2019, 23.0

Text Objects become unresponsive
I'm encountering an issue where text objects will become unresponsive to direct selection. They behave like they have been locked but they haven't been, and using unlock all does nothing. The only way I've found to move them is by doing a broad drag select and gathering up multiple text objects at once. This will sometimes cause the text object to display it's bounding box. Spell Check doesn't understand what "Uncapitalized Start of Sentence" means.
While running spell check, Illustrator doesn't seem to understand that a comma is not the end of a sentence, or that the word following the comma is the start of a new sentence. See attached screen shots.
(running the version of Illustrator on Mac running OS 10.13.6)

An installed font doesn’t get found when its name is typed in a search field
I'm missing fonts that used to show up in my list. What happened to my favorites? I started typing the missing font name in search and it showed up briefly and then disappeared. From then on every time I tried to search for it again the cursor jumped around and started typing nonsense.

Bengali Dari Line Break Issue
The Indic 'dari' (U+0964, "।") reflows to the next line in Bengali, but it should behave like a period and not be allowed to start a line, especially if not preceded by a space. I am using v22.0.1 x64 on Windows 10. I have attached a file to show what I mean.

In Illustrator CC (Latest version and several previous) on Mac:

Text size is not the same size as I set it
How do I get illustrator cc 18 which I pay per month for, to apply text size the same size on the monitor as I pick in the layout?? If I put in for instance .50 size text it will be approx. .375 on the monitor or my layout. This is aggravating. It is something I am doing wrong or HOW DO I CORRECT THIS SO IT WILL BE THE SAME SIZE AS I CHOOSE. THANKS Jerry L. Evans Kokomo, Indiana. Adobe Illustrator CC 22.1
I updated my Illustrator App, and of course, I had to migrate all my templates over to the new CC2018 folder. Why do you make us do this EVERY update?
Additionally, ALL of my Favorited fonts were lost. Ive spent so much time sifting through my fonts to favorite fonts in each class. Now, after the cc2018 update, all of my favorite font filters are gone. Why would you reset our font filters on this update? Font Suggestion/Preview Font NOT Working on MAC's
I select a text box on my artboard and go to the Character panel to change the font. I was able to use the arrow keys up and down and see the font change on the artboard. This feature no longer works with CC2018 Mac.
Or I was able to start typing a font name into the Character panel and suggestions would pop up. This feature no longer works with CC2018 Mac.
I find this very irritating and a difficult way to work. This only happens on my MAC, my PC still works.
Can anyone help me with this?

Missing Font On Documents That Were Just Open
I have been having issues with fonts dropping out of coworkers documents since I updated to CC2018 but this is the first time I have reopened one of my own files and had font claim to be missing that I was just using.
I had assumed previously that my coworkers had just had a different named version of the fonts but today I saved and closed one of my own files to restart my pc because AI was running slowly (separate issue, i know) but when i reopened my file 10 minutes later I have 6 fonts missing.

Problem selecting Text Area background with direct selection
Illustrator CC 2018
Windows 10When I want to select the background of a Text Area with the direct selection tool (white arrow), I can only do so by clicking on the edge or half a pixel inside it, or it will select the text (unless there's free space under the text, which doesn't happen if you the block is automatically resized).
I have checked on Mac, you can click anywhere inside the box where there is no text (eg the end of any line if text aligned is left) to select the background.
