  1. No artboards!

    I am using Mac OS Mojave (OS 10.14) with Illustrator 19. When I try to create a new file or open up an existing one, nothing happens! No new artboard appears for me - the page that loads on start up remains there. I've been using Illustrator since the early 90s and nothing like this has ever happened. This is a recent manifestation since the installation of version 19 - please advise what to do!

  2. 'Puppet Warp Tool' delaying access to 'Free Transform Tool' due to load time

    Noticed in the latest update that when 'pressing & holding' the Puppet Warp Tool to access the Free Transform Tool underneath would cause the Puppet Tool to first apply itself to chosen artwork, render its mesh, etc. before displaying my option to select the Free Transform Tool. This causes up the 5 second delay each time I switch - very annoying for the default state. I encounter this about 3 times daily.

  3. can't read pdf in acrobat pro dc, created in illustrator CC 2019, since update

    can't read pdf in acrobat pro dc created in illustrator CC 2019. Opens file but shows no content. Illustrator some times struggles to open ai files, very slow.

  4. Illustrator & Mohave

    I performed the upgrade to Mojave 10.14 yesterday from High Sierra. Now I am dealing with some really strange & frustrating Finder & Adobe CC behavior. "An unexpected error occurred (error code -8011)" when I try to rename files in Finder.

    Illustrator, instead of saving over my open working files, is generating new file versions named in numerical order -without my doing- and I am unable to change these filenames after closing them all and renaming them in Finder. And it sometimes skips a save, too. For example, when I hit Save in Illustrator, new file appears named "Filename 1.ai,…

    Illustrator version 22 is not supported on macOS 10.14 (Mojave).
    Please upgrade to version 23 to see if it resolves the issue.

    the error as seen in screenshot is form Apple Os, you may want to contact them to resolve finder issues

  5. program not responding

    So I deleted my old version of Illustrator since Adobe kept sending warnings saying I was using a cracked version. So I went ahead and purchased the 1 year and now that the new Illustrator is installed, it just keeps freezing and saying program not responding. I liked the old version better plus it was already paid off

  6. white outline appears

    A white outline appears around objects sometimes that is not supposed to be there.
    Restarting illustrator, my computer and uninstalling/reinstalling illustrator has not fixed it.

  7. macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy

    Unless we get specefic actionable items it will not be possible for us to correct. Performance can be due to variety of reason a file type , a particular type of object on the file (e.g. a large raster), some interference with software that interfere with our event etc… Please help us to help you.

  9. Not responsonding

    Every time I am working in Illustrator & switch to a different app, Illustrator will hang when I return causing me to wait prior to returning to my work. So, for example if I am working on an illustration then go to google chrome to look at something online then return to my work in Illustrator it will hang & become unresponsive for a little bit of time (1 - 2 minutes) after waiting I can continue to work .   13. symbols are not displayed

    I have a problem with symbols which I use frequently to have consistent UI.
    The problem happens sometimes that when reopened a file (package) after some time the symbol is not displayed! To see the symbol I need to enter it & exit symbol mode after that while I am in the file everything is fine till next time I enter the symbol!!!

  14. Illustrator is not frozen but you can't see anything you're doing to your work

    Since the update I have had a lot of issues when creating art. Everything starts smoothly, I can see everything I'm doing in real time and can see which brush strokes I'm creating. A little ways through drawing, I can no longer see my brush strokes. I can click other options in illustrator (i.e. select layers, lock and unlock, hover over options etc.) and do other things in the process but I can't see anything that i'm actually doing to my artwork! I have to restart the program almost every ten minutes and it's driving me absolutely mad. Is there…

  15. Since I updated to High Sierra 10.13.5 Illustrator CC 22.1 freezes when I move items

    Since I updated to High Sierra 10.13.5,
    Illustrator CC 22.1 freezes when I move items.

    Especially when my selection is rather large, I easily end up with a blocked screen and the only thing i see is the rotating cursor.
    A hard reboot is the only solution I can do.....

  16. Screen Problems

    Hi, There.

    I use Illustrator CC 2018 and my OS is Win10 64bit.

    Graphic Card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti.

    My illustrator have a problem comes up.

    The problem is when i drawing or moved object and that gray is what breaks my screen.(like a images.)

    I checked GPU Performance of illustrator Options.

    but, This problem is over and over again!

    some additional suggestion: You may want to keep your memory free by reducing the number of undoes – last 200 edits in memory may be too much of data in memory that you may not need ever.

    My Illustrator is slow and with-in a few minutes after opening says not responding. What do I need to do to fix this problem? I need it for school work

  18. Freezing when working on files with lots of details

    I've noticed others are having this exact same problem:

    When working on files with a large number of items, the program will freeze up the whole computer -- necessitating a forced reboot. This happens constantly with the latest update.

  19. Illustrator locking up

    Since the latest update for Adobe Illustrator on Mac I have found it locks up frequently with complex files. The cursor turns into the spinning umbrella and will stay that way for several minutes.

  20. Resizing Bug

    Been having a lot of issues with a bug in the last couple weeks. I frequently find that the bounding box disappears (even when I have on 'show bounding box') absolutely out of nowhere. The program then proceeds to get very glitchy when trying to move the selected text, then crashes and shuts down. Doesn't allow transformations. I find myself restarting the program multiple times a day and it is honestly unacceptable. This is the most up to date version of illustrator.
