The latest Beta Build 29.6.91 introduces first changes to the way how recent font section works. Now Ai tries to find the position of the currently chosen font in the main list.
There are several known issues.
- If you deselect a text and select it again — Ai will still jump to the recent section’s font when we open the dropdown
- The recent section is not fixed and gets scrolled while navigating the list, making the access to recent fonts harder that it is now in the General build

I am having the same problem.
The frame repeatedly appears and disappears as I scroll, so it seems like blinking, which is very annoying and I can't concentrate on my design.Also, on my machine, turning off GPU preview slows down the display, so it is not a solution.

私も同じ現象で困っています。
スクロールで枠が表示・非表示を繰り返すので、点滅するようでとても煩わしく、作業に集中できません。
また、私のマシンではGPU プレビューをオフにすると表示が遅くなるので解決策になりません。これが現在の仕様だとしても早急に解決されることを願っています。

I have the same problem, ever since I started using my iMac 5K 2019.
- Switching to Overprint Preview or Pixel Preview.
- Scrolling the screen and "Hand tool" is slowing down.
- It also happens with newly created empty documents.
- Artboards and guides are grayed out.Workaround
- Make the window smaller.-------------------------

- 画面のスクロールや「Hand tool」の操作が遅くなる
- 新規作成した空のドキュメントでも発生する
- アートボードやガイドの表示もグレーアウトしておかしくなる回避策
- ウインドウを小さくする-------------------------

The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
PDF is now available as type in File > Export > Export As dialog.
However, File > Adobe PDF Presets menu, similar to one InDesign has, to allow even quicker export, is absent still.

I have screen recorded, as your team may not understand the annoyance we are feeling. Please take a look at the attached video.
* Switching Hand Tool by space key is used frequently, probably more often than you might imagine.
* When artboards and guides are shown and hidden repeatedly, they seem to blink.
* The more artboards and guides a document has, the more annoying it is.
We’re adjusting 0.1mm or 1px for a beautiful design, but this makes it hard to concentrate.Illustrator is an important tool for creativity. We all want to concentrate on creating.
Please don’t let this go on and I hope it will be resolved as soon as possible.

私たちは美しいデザインのために0.1mmや1pxを調整しているのに、これでは作業に集中できません。Illustratorはクリエイティブのための重要なツールです。みんな制作に集中したいのです。
このまま放置せず、一刻も早く解決されることを願っています。
