   As mentioned before, this got shipped into the main (GA) build, but the development is not completed. The team has been gathering all the user feedback and intends to address it.

   Here are several relevant entries you can upvote.

   Bug reports:

   • Spots and Globals are converted into process colors when included into Swatch Info
   • Swatches Info doesn’t work for the only swatch selected
   • Swatch Info renders a saved tint as yet another copy of the main global color
   • The default text color in Swatches Info is rich RGB black when used in a CMYK document
   • Tabs in Swatch Info text are made with spaces instead of actual tabs
   • Bottom margins for labels are too small for Swatch Info objects in the column view (with no card backgrounds)

   Feature requests:

   • Auto-Eyedropper when hovering over Swatches Info objects
   • Allow to create Swatch Info object using a hotkey
   • Allow to actually drag-n-drop swatches on canvas to create a Swatch Info object
   • Allow to quickly enable or disable all Text Options for cards in Swatch Info objects
   • Layout for Swatch Info should allow to set grid, not only a row or a column
   • Allow to use custom user templates for Swatch Info objects
   • Allow to set text format for CMYK values and other data in Swatch Info objects
   • Allow to control font for Swatch Info objects
   • Allow to place cards next to color chips instead of always below for Swatch Info objects
   • Allow to include gradients and patterns in Swatch Info objects
   • Don’t force creating a dedicated layer for Swatch Info objects
   • Add Preview option when creating a Swatch Info object

   Hi Everyone,

   We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 24.2.1 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.

   Please note that after upgrading you might still see that Align To sets itself to Align to Key Object. If you see this, please manually set the Align To to the required setting, and this reported bug will not happen again. You’ll need to this one time only.

   The reason Align To might get set to Key Object after update is because Ai remembers your last Align To on subsequent launches as well. So, if your last Align To was Key Object before quitting/upgrading, after first multi-selection, it will set itself to Key Object. After you manually change it one-time, it will work fine.

   This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.

   Illustrator remembers the last preset used for saving PDF files and keeps it as the default preset.

   Hello all,

   This functionality is now available in all the public builds starting V29.0.

   To use this functionality, simply select colors from your swatches panel and click on 'create gradient' in the swatch panel options.

   I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.2 which is available worldwide now.

   Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

   I have this exact same problem. Happens with Illustrator 24.0 and 24.1. Win10 version is currently 1909, OS build 18363.657.

10. Colours of Layers defined in documents saved by version 23.1.1 & prior are shifted one colour down the list by Illustrator 24.0

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 24.0.1
    Now your files created in 23.1.1 or prior will retain layer color when opened in 24.0.1

    This has not been "done" in 24.0.1 - it's still altering certain layer colours.

    I've had this problem as well, at first I thought I was imagining it! I'm on Windows 10, so it appears to be a cross-platform bug.

    Hi Everyone,

    All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

    We are working on making all remaining preview check-boxes sticky. Will update this thread when done!
