An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment A lot of you reached out to us in the past few days to be added to the beta. Thank you all for your feedback.
We have now opened this Beta to all! Anyone with an Adobe ID should see it under the 'Beta' section in the Creative Cloud Desktop app on Mac. If for some reason, you are not seeing it, drop an email to me: kotwal at Adobe.com
We would love to hear your feedback on its performance as compared with non-Apple Silicon versions of Illustrator. Thanks.
An error occurred while saving the comment To reiterate, If you do not see the Beta build 25.3.1, send me an email at: kotwal at adobe.com

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, you can go to the 'View' menu and uncheck 'Snap to Glyph'.
I am also curious, why you want to disable it. Are these guides cluttering your view or interfering with your workflow?. Thanks. An error occurred while saving the comment This feature has been released in 24.3, which is out now. Please update to the latest version to use this feature. An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Egor, thanks for all the feedback. keep it coming.
#13: I tried and was able to snap to an anchor point on X height. Can you please create a gif/video to show how it's behaving on your build.
#14:Noted
#15: New icons couldn't make it to the Beta. I am attaching it here for your reference.
#16: I saw your email. That seems to be a bug. Can you please try angular glyph snapping with text and let us know.AdminAvinash Singh Kotwal (Principal Product Manager, Adobe Illustrator) shared this idea ·

An error occurred while saving the comment I am not sure what the original word was, but seems like UserVoice is filtering these words. I am following up with UV to review the filtering rules. Can you please drop a note to me kotwal@adobe.com, what you originally wanted to write.

We have seen this issue specific to macOS 10.15. Enabling “Screen Recording” access right to Illustrator resolved this issue.
You can change this setting by going to Apple > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Screen Recording and add Illustrator Application.
Please try this and reply in comment if the above suggestion worked for you.

Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment As Rama mentioned, Apple has restricted the screen recording access in macOS 10.15 To sample the color from other windows user has to allow Illustrator to access Screen Recording permission.
This can be done by going to Apple > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Screen Recording and add Illustrator Application. Here is a link to read more about it: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/cc-apps-macmojave.html

So it’s obviously not fixed, and we all know it.
While the cursor gets changes into the horizontal/vertical two-headed arrow, the center handles for the bounding box indeed don’t appear, if the width/height of the art (here just an orthogonal line) is small enough.
Please continue to share you thought, screenshots, GIFs. It’s time to re-review this again.
An error occurred while saving the comment @Feek - This couldn't make it to 23.0.5 but we plan will ship it in next release soon. Our intent is to do frequent releases to ship long-standing asks faster.

I hope you had a chance to download and use Illustrator on your M1 machine.
I would love to hear your experience around Illustrator's performance on the Apple Silicon machine so far. Do you find it is faster or slower on: launch time, new document creation, file saving/export, or any other observations?
