White is now yellow
All my colors with todays 10/16/18 update have shifted and have lost their embedded color file. (When opening previous work). My white swatch is yellow. But when placed in Indesign it is white as well well as the color makeup 0000. Hiw can i fix this?
We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.1
Please refer to our knowledge base FAQ – https://illustrator.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1844590 if you face difficulty in update.

Emulate 6.0 works great, thanks! At least it's a quick fix until Adobe provides a lasting solution.

It did not work for me either, but then I chose the Emulate Addobe Illustrator 6.0 color seting (first one). And this is the only mode in which the illustrator has a normal white color.

Gowrishankar Bavini - Go to Edit -> Color settings -> Settinngs -> Monitor color.
Well, nice try. It doesn't work for me (Win7), and was actually one of the first things I looked at. I only wish it was that easy. I believe it will come down to a corrupt resource file being created at installation in certain conditions.

Go to Edit -> Color settings -> Settinngs -> Monitor color.
or
Shift+Ctrl+K and change settings to monitor color and click OK,this will solve your problem.
later you can go to the same settings and choose any color profile, yellow color won't come back.
I hope this answer will solve your problem.

I gave up and reverted to the prev version of Illustrator. So much for Adobe support! I also posted this on their support site and no response there either.

Yes I'm on Windows 10. We pay enough money for these apps, we should be getting support with way quicker response times! It is a new release bug after all...

Adobe, please look into this color issue. Seems that everyone is having issues and the only post that helps is for people on MACs.... But what about the fix for some of use who are on WINDOWS 10.

Still looking for answer for Window 10. Seems to be pkenty of answers for Mac. Its really hard to colorize art work when white is yellow and all the other others have shifted as well.

I FOUND A FIX EVERYONE!! HERE ARE THE STEPS:
• Save your work and quit Illustrator
• click on finder and choose Go at the top
• and then choose Go to folder
• type ~/library
• choose ok
• choose preferences
• choose Adobe, then choose color
• there is a file named " aceconfigcache2.lst "
• move that file to desktop
• Then launch Illustrator and check if it works now
• If so, move file to trash and purge
Hope this helps!! :)

Me too!! All my colors are dull in my workspace, they print correctly, but this is not good when designing. Anyone have an idea how to fix? Trying to chat with Adobe about this now...

I have this problem also, everything from previous files and anything new appears off white, very off putting as I have to continuously check that the colour is correct
