Lost extra Pantone Colours after Illustrator 2021 update
I have registered a Pantone booklet and downloaded the PANTONE colour manager to gain the extra missing Pantone swatch colours. This was working fine but after the 2021 update I have lost them.
I have tried going back into the Pantone Colour Manager and re-updating the newest colour books I want (PANTONE Solid Coated-V4 and PANTONE+ Solid Coated-336). But the Applications to apply them to as options are only InDesign and Photoshop. Adding swatch to Libraries automatically creates spot color
Adding a swatch from Illustrator into a Library automatically turns the color into a spot color. I need it to be a process color.

Transform pattern only: setting height/width to 0 crashes Illustrator
If you select "transform pattern only" option in Transform panel and (accidentally) set height or weight to 0 (mm in my case), then Illustrator crashes.

Color Libraries not switching correctly
When switching from different Color Libraries, before I could click on the arrow to select a different library and have it open immediately.
Now I have to collapse the color library panel in between in order to select a different color libraries, then collapse again to select it, then collapse again and reopen to get it to activate.

Freeform gradient locking spot color
If you use a spot color in a freeform gradient the swatch becomes locked, so you can't change the name or merge/delete the swatch.

Scale tool doesn't work in Make Pattern
The Scale tool currently does not do anything within pattern mode. Maybe this worked in previous versions, but would like to see all tools working within pattern mode on future updates

Double-click on swatch doesn't bring up swatch options anymore.
Mac OS Mojave 10.15.5
Adobe Illustrator 24.2I used to be able to double-click a swatch to bring up swatch options, but it does not bring up the dialogue box anymore.

Adobe themes panel window is cut outed..
The adobe themes panel window is showing in half, while it does not have a scaling option also to scale.
The right half of the window is cut out & non-accessible.

Gradient Window Color Slider buggy, Selection area too small, adding color instead of selecting the color
After updating to 24.2. Gradient Window Color Slider buggy, Selection area too small, adding color instead of selecting the color. Then it doesn't allow the selection of the color because it wants to add a new color. When I keep trying to select the color it is showing a plus sign and will not allow me to select the color that is there.

Eyedrop multiple fills
Please allow there to be an option on the eyedropper tool to select multiple fills on appearances to apply to another object. Example; with pattern design, we create a top transparent pattern than a second fill with a solid color to create the final pattern. We would like to be able to easily apply those two fills to another object
1 voteYou can open Eyedropper tool’s options (double-click tool icon or hit Enter while the tool is active) and check both Appearance ticks to force it to pick and apply all appearance items, including multiple fills.

Color Theme Window isn't Expanding
I have Windows 10 and Illustrator 2020 and 2021 installed on my desktop. When I click on Color Themes I get a narrow window that doesn't open up all the way and there is no way of trying to expand it on the sides. I can expand it horizontally, but not vertically. How can I fix this problem

Unexpected fills when editing a pattern swatch
I manually created a pattern swatch and discovered I had an error. When I pull the pattern tile onto the artboard to edit I have fills where there were none. The motifs and lettering were created in Illustrator on iPad with the blob brush tool and then arranged into a repeating tile on the desktop -- most current CC release. I suspect the path orientation is reversed as when I try to remove the fill I still have a filled shape.

Falsche nummer übername beim Option "Neu färben"
Wält man mehrere Objekten mit unterschiedlichen Farben im Illustrator und will die ändern mit Option "Neu färben".
Neu färben > Erweiterte Optionen...
Danach schalte ich auf "Zuweisen" (rechts von "Bearbeiten"). Damit sehe ich alle benutze Farben als liste. Unten gibst 3 Scrollbalken "H", "S", "B". Zu jede Scrolbalke steht ein Eingabefeld für präzise Zahlen Eingabe.Wen man wählt einen von dieser Feld "H", "S", "B".
Schreibt dort ein neues Zahl
Danach wechselt Fokus auf ein andere Feld "H", "S", "B". damit Eingabe übernommen wird.
Jetzt nähme ich ein andere Farbe aus der Liste

Editing Pattern Swatch + Saving = Crash (unsaved, unrecovered)
After creating a new pattern swatch with about a dozen objects, I double click the swatch to change the pattern settings. Either of the following scenarios cause Illustrator to crash EVERY TIME, using ANY of the last 3 versions of Illustrator:
— hitting Command+S to exit pattern editor while saving
— double clicking to exit, and then hitting Command+S at any point afterwardsTLDR; hitting Command+S anytime AFTER editing a pattern swatch is crashing Illustrator
I've replicated this issue about 2 dozen times now across all 3 most recent builds of Illustrator available through CC.

Colour Hex Cut / Copy Error
I'm switching between AE and Illustrator. Copying Hex codes from Illustrator and pasting them into AE.
If I accidentally press Ctrl+X it starts misbehaving.
It stops copying any codes and the clipboard has some SVG export code. I can't copy anything else unless I close and reopen Illustrator.

Problem deleting Spot Color
When I attempt to delete Pantone swatch for the swatch that's being used in my design, it should give us the warning to replace color just like InDesign. Instead, it just converts the color to CMYK without you even knowing which is a problem when you're trying to make sure you're only working with limited spot colors in the document. I remember getting warnings before like InDesign does... is this something new in the application? Could you please fix this issue?

File opens with one color value & the values change when placed in a new document
Hi There, I am working in the latest release of AI on a MacBook Pro OS 10.15.4 (Catalina) and I am reporting a bug I've encountered.
To preface, I don't know the age of the original logo file. The artwork is a PMS chip value, saved in an RGB document.
To get the RGB value of the logo I opened the file and inspect the color. Since it was a PMS, I go to the RGB view either in the color panel or the selector in the tool bar & I see a specific value. (0/53/98) when I paste the…
2 votesTo ensure the colors match, all apps should have their color settings synced, manually or via Bridge. If the problem still exists when the settings and color profiles match, please provide the details about the chosen settings, the color settings configuration files, the test files themselves, screenshots, etc., so the team can try to investigate this.

Impossible to create a new swatch named 'White' or 'Black'
In my company we can print the color White as a spot color. Our printer reacts on the name of the color "White".
Until a while ago it was no problem to add a White color swatch to Illustrator.
Now I get an error (see image).I don't know why it worked before and doesn't anymore.
May be it's possible to make Illustrator work like Indesign and change the name of the original white-swatch to Paper?

My colors keep shifting values
I create swatches and it still doesn't remember shifts the value. RGB and CMYK. Seems to happen in every doc.
Any insight to what I'm doing wrong would be helpful.2 votes
