Artboard size units not right
Ai 29.4 / Sequoia 15.4
Create an artboard of 59,4 x 60 cm, add some graphics. Save as .pdf.
Place in InDesign, and see how it is actually 5,94 x 6 cm.

Documents don't open
If I create a new document the dialog appears and I select the option and hit OK. Then the screen does not show the document. Only a gray screen. The same happens when I try to open an existent document. I have to close and and open several times until it opens or create the document.

Can’t paste from Photoshop
It works from Photoshop to Illustrator (I had to ensure both were Illustrator2025/Photoshop2025 were running)

Please allow files to reopen after crash/restart/reopen
Please please Adobe - why is it almost every other company has managed to give us the option to reopen after quit with the same files open but you still haven't?? Today Creative Cloud told me I had 7 updates available and I thought, ok great, maybe just maybe the illustrator one fixes my snap to point problem. So I had to take a photo of what docs I had open (!), quit Illustrator and go back to Creative Cloud to do the update... only to find that it had changed its mind and I only had two updates but…

Paste in the same place is failing

Finder Apps and Adobe Bridge no longer open Adobe Illustrator
Something changed with the last update that altered the default association between Illustrator files and the application. I first noticed it when my barcode app failed to launch Illustrator upon export—something that had been working perfectly for years. Then, I encountered the same issue in Adobe Bridge: every time I double-click a .ai file, it simply won’t open.

Adobe Illustrator recovered files... but they're not showing up, anywhere.
Adobe Illustrator recovered files... but there not showing up. And not in a Temp Folder. I tried restarting the app and it says that it was recovered. But when pressed ok nothing shows up.

New document page dimensions resetting as I'm typing them
Create a new document, type in desired page width, press tab to go down to the height field and suddenly it's reverted back to what was in those fields previously. Have to go back and re-enter the correct dimensions.

Recent section in New Document dialog is empty with the newest update
Latest updates cause a problem when creating a New File. The history of past artboard sizes is being wiped out on startup leaving only preset formats to choose from. I do not use any of those, I often use a 50"x100" to design in and would just click on it when needed in the large pane. There is now not even an option to customize the new file unless you choose one of the useless presets and modify it, this slows down production and is annoying as ****. Copy Paste in place puts the art at a wrong placa
Copy/ Paste in Place does not work. I selected an Artboard, but it never got pasted into the !selected! Artboard, but in any other artboard, the original Artboard, or outside. Illustrator 2025 29.1 MacBook Pro M2, 14.6.1 (23G93)

Locked guides not moving with the artboard with Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard enabled
Locked guides are not moving with the artboard, despite "Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard" being enabled in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display.

Contextual Task Bar Preventing Artboard Creation
Normally when you click on an object you can create an artboard to fit to that graphic. However, when the Contextual Task Bar is open it bugs out and doesn't allow this.

An empty document that makes Pathfinder Unite fail and a bounding box to become loose
I am sending you an empty Illustrator file that leads to Illustrator starts to glitch badly. These are not Illustrator glitches, but a change in Illustrator's behavior due to the open document. But behavior of the App that depends on open document is a bug itself isn't it?
This document is completely empty. And how can error be reproduced? Below are 2 examples:

Dimensions of this page are out of range
The original file i used to make a back wall design has worked for years now and every time i update it, it still works. UNTIL NOW. The image REFUSES to save as a PDF or anything, as it says the dimensions of this page are out of range... EVERYTHING is within the canvas but still refuses to work. If it saves as a PNG, it cuts off part of the sides, EVEN if i shrink it down WAY smaller into the box, it STILL cuts off stuff in the PNGS. What is wrong????? AI its self keeps freezing... yes…

Artwork gets shifted when an artboard is resized with width and height constrained and Scale Artwork Constrained enabled
CC 2025 v29.0 introduces the long-awaited "Scale Artwork with Artboard" option. When we drag the transformation frame with the Artboard tool, the objects are scaled synchronously, and the position’s calculated properly.
However, when we start to enter the width or height of the artboard, with Constrain locked, the objects get shifted relative to the artboard after being scaled.
The problem has been confirmed on both MacOS and PC.10 votesFixed in Beta 29.1.0.93

Guides duplicate and fly away when grabbed
When I grab a guide (square made by me, not ruler) by the edge and drag it, it duplicates and the double is flying away, kind of like a floater in your eye

New Document has strange green lines, rulers, checkered background, and second artboard
My Illustrator recently updated to 28.7.1
Now, when I create a new document in Illustrator, the artboard/working area looks like the attached file.
I'm confused at what this is and the checkerboard background is messing up my vision!!
How do I go back to the plain dark gray work surface with WHITE artboard view?
Also, when I am trying to create 1 artboard, it keeps creating 2 artboards...one filling the whole background and 1 the size that I specified....

Hidden objects wrongly get sent to back when duplicating artboards
When I alt-drag to duplicate an artboard where I have hidden an object on the artboard, it moves the hidden object(s) to the back. The bug doesn't work if the hidden object is all the way in front.
This is very frustrating, as I frequently hide objects and duplicate artboards, and it's causing everything to suddenly be out of order.
To replicate problem
- create a few stacked shapes in an artboard
- hide one of the objects (not the top object)
- with the artboard tool, alt-drag to duplicate the whole artboard
- show all objects
- you will see that the formerly hidden…
