Finally! This fix seems to be working completely for me. I hope the same for the rest of you.

I was hoping this would fix the other artboard align issue. When you copy/drag an item to a new artboard and try to center align it on that artboard, it still references the OLD artboard and just center aligns it on top of the original.

Now that this as been fixed, please fix the bugs with the Character panel too. And GPU performance issues with Nvidia. I'm still frustrated on those.

Please fix this annoying bug.

Is the pressure off now that you can just fix it in the next years CC release and break something else in the process? Why do I need to have 10 **** versions of illustrator installed, constantly switching between the ones with bugs that effect me just to do my job?!

Seems it will be fixed in 2018 (to coincide with AI 2018). Thanks, Adobe, for breaking our workflow!

According to the "About Illustrator->credits" , we have to write your complains to Adobe in Hindi. Hope it will help.

This is a deal breaker. Got to be fixed or I have to rollback, in which case, where is the value proposition in CC?

Please fix!!! I use Illustrator nearly every day for the past 6 years and have used the 'Align to Section' feature only a handful of times. I use the 'Align to Artboard' feature every single day.

All I want for Christmas is my Align to Artboard default fixed, If I don't get all my presents delivered to all the good little boys and girls this Christmas because I have to keep switching back, I swear by all that is Holy I will deliver only COAL to all the coders at Adobe. Come on Adobe. You are charging us now a lot more and you cannot fix a simple align tool for over a month.

I've also noticed that when I "CMD+~" through my tabs and i'm checking the size of the artboards with the artboard tool in numerous documents I have to click to another tool and then back to the artboard tool in order to see the size of the artboard. You used to be able to cycle through all of your tabs and immediately see the dimensions of the artboards. It seems like the new features you guys added for the artboard tool, have messed up other smaller features that were handy to many users- like the "Align to Artboard" being the default but now changing to "Align to Selection" once you use the Artboard Tool. Please fix these Artboard Tool-caused issues Adobe, it's hurting many of your customer's workflow.

Does anyone know a better way to SHAME Adobe into getting this fixed?
Clearly this forum does not get read by anyone at Adobe who can do anything.

A bug that has been know for OVER a month.
A graphic art program who would like to promote themselves as the PREMIER program for drawing.
And a basic function as Align Objects is FLAWED.

Shame on Adobe!

I look for updates a couple times a day hoping that a month has been long enough for a Quality minded responsible company would resolve such a basic FLAW in a MAJOR update.

Seriously Adobe! Get your **** together. I Googled this issue thinking I was the only one. Lone behold, there's a plethora of us complaining about this inconvenient workflow change.

Please make the default alignment Align to Artboard.
