Smart Guides not working
I have Smart Guides enabled and Snap to Point enabled. Neither are working. Frustrating.

I just upgraded to Illustrator CC and smart guides not working.

I had the same problem and pressing the "CMD-U" shortcut was the only thing that fixed it (ticking and unticking smart guides from the menu did nothing even though that should be doing the same thing as the shortcut). I've got all the "snap-to's" unticked too.

So it was strange, it was checked for me and never working. I clicked to uncheck it, but wala it turned on. I checked again and it was checked. Seems like a bug with the checkbox.

Turning on just one 'Snap to ...' worked for me. When you have them all turned on smart guides don't show up for some reason. Looks like you shouldn't be able to turn them on all at the same time?

When I start Illustrator, smart guides state they are enabled with the option ticked but they're not working. If select the option again it remains ticked but starts working.

Uninstalled choosing to delete all presets and preferences and reinstalled. Not ideal but smart guides working now.

I just don't understand why this isn't working, but it's very frustrating. I need to work on a logo, and the paths just won't line up. When working with circles, the align palette is mostly useless, so I rely on the smart guides.
