Overwriting PDF-Files does not work anymore with build 24.0.2 ! Till 24.0.1 it works. Pleas fix this. Current Update is a desaster.

Hi All,
We have fixed this issue in 24.0.3 version of Illustrator (MAC only issue). Please update to 24.0.3 if you are encountering this issue. For all the other issues which you are encountering regarding the update or the new document dialog or any other please create another User Voice thread for that issue so that we can track it there itself.

When we open an .ai File and make some edits and then save it and make 2nd save as .pdf file the first time this is working (the pdf is created as a new file). When we then opem the same .ai file again and make some more changes to it and save it the same way first cmd-s and then save as pdf and replace the pdf file (working on the mac desktop) the name in the window changes to .pdf BUT the content of the pdf file is not changed. this happens on llustrator 2020 24.0.2 mac os 10.14 (on 10.13 its not happenig).
Please provide a fix for this bug.

It seems that Adobe is going down the same path Apple is taking.
Quality control is completely gone.These errors shouldn't leave the testing department.
When can we expect an update? we want to know what to expect!

Hi all.
Same problem here. A lot of troubles before we found the cause.As a customer wrote, this is not a game, or a fun app to draw mickeys, this is a professional tool!
The way Adobe manages it is very dangerous for professionals. (I'm in pharmaceutical Industry)
Fed-up with updates all the time...Back to 24.0.1.

I'm also facing this annoying issue. My temporary solution is deleting the file it's replacing right before clicking Save to make sure it's the right version exported.

Export an asset in PDF using the asset export panel, make changes to asset in document re-export asset (with same name) Illustrator tells you that it already exist and that it will be replaced, click REPLACE go to exported asset ... still is the first version exported. Kind of a pain for me ....
