Object Transform Reflect default bug
Small one, but the reflect tool doesn't seem to be saving last input, i.e. usually it will remember whether you last used reflect Horizontal, Vertical or Angle, but now it defaults seemingly at random. With perhaps a bit of a bias to Angle. Which I don't think I've actually ever used.
We could not reproduce this issue due to a lack of information. It may appear this happens very easily for people who face this issue, this may be due to specific hardware setup, etc.
If you have additional information to share with the Illustrator team, please reach out to ShareWithAI@adobe.com

Yes, reflect tool only seems to rotate and not reflect!

Sep 12, 2021 and I thought I was the only one experiencing this annoying bug. I also used to speedily make horizontal or vertical reflections and now there's an extra step to correct the randomized reflect value. suuuuper annoying as this has never been a problem before.

PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!
Yet another tool that has worked for years and years and is now broken. Stop impeding my workflow, Adobe. Why is Illustrator such a pain ********** to use now????

Mike C., I wish that were true, but in my case it most definitely is not. I use only numeric transformations when reflecting - never the mouse - and the values I get are all over the place. I can reflect an object, take no other actions, and reflect again, and the reflect value it shows is anyone's guess.

Interesting... thanks for sharing! Hopefully it gets fixed with this new update? *hopeful*

The bug affects all of the transformation tools (move/rotate/reflect/scale).
If you transform an object by dragging with the mouse, then your next transform will not remember its previous setting, but instead defaults to a new value based on the transformation.
The transformation will correctly remember the last setting only if the last transformation was applied numerically, or if you do not apply any transformations.

My "hotkey" for this has always been hitting O - Enter - Enter super fast since 90% of the time I'm only flipping horizontally, but now with this randomized angle it's always a surprise, and not a good one :(

Same! This just started about a day or two ago and it's driving me bonkers

Could we please just make reflecting easier? It’s a wildly common tool.
Perhaps a toggle that Mirrors/aids during workflow? -

Same problem for me! Please fix.
