SVG export from Indesign PDF not cropping to artwork
Part of my team's workflow involves exporting a PDF from Indesign 2021 (Mac) and then converting to SVG via Illustrator "Export As…" with "Artboards" unchecked. Illustrator 2021 and prior versions cropped the SVG export to the artwork, which is what we want. Illustrator 2022 and 2023 always crop to the artboard, even when it's unchecked.
What appears to be happening is that the Indesign pdf has a page sized clipping path which Illustrator used to ignore, but no longer does. I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but we really need it to go back to the…

Not saving changes for transparency.
I am using latest Illustrator 2023 on Windows 11 22H2, after changing transparency of any object / text when i save file it saves but when i open again it's actually not saved (only transparency setting) rest all changes are saved (video attached) to get idea but don't know why it's not showing menu in video, but you will get what i mean.

複数のアートボードを作成し、「書き出し形式」より、「アートボードごとに作成」にチェックを入れ、pngファイルとして書き出ししました。
ドキュメントで裁ち落としが設定されているにもかかわらず、裁ち落としが反映されませんでした。1 vote

problem with save file to PDF
when trying to save file to PDF it gives an error and also sometimes we don't see the text box with the save or other things at all
we use version 26.5 with windows 11Home version 21H2 build 22000.978 ( X64 , 64bit )

Illustrator changes Tiny SVG headers
(1.) Windows 10 Enterprise 10.0.19042 and Illustrator 26.5
(2.) open file, then "save as" > SVG Tiny 1.2
(3.) SVG header contains: xmlns:x="&nsextend;" xmlns:i="&nsai;" xmlns:graph="&ns_graphs;"
(4.) previous SVG Tiny 1.2 headers never contained the xmlns information in (3.)
(5.) see uploaded filesPlease do not advise me on how to use (or not use) SVG files. It is just about the program (Illustrator) changing its settings for SVG headers.

Share for Review Greyed Out
I used Share for Review in Beta a number of times successfully last week on a few proofs but I just opened a file to use it again and the feature is now greyed out, as is the option to open a window for "Comments".
I have reverted back to the regular Illustrator to continue using this feature but preferred the Beta, as the regular version requires you to upload the file and assets to CC cloud and the proof quality is terrible. The Beta, when it was working, was more consistent with how the feature works in InDesign but…

SVG Exporter with decimal to 1 rounds lower percentage opacities to 0
macOS Catalina 10.15.7, Adobe Illustrator 26.5
In the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator, the SVG exporter when the decimals parameter is 1 low percentage opacities are rounded to 0 in the CSS styles of the SVG file. This problem did not exist in older versions of Adobe Illustrator (2017, 2018)
In a new Adobe Illustrator file make some paths or shapes, set fill color and set opacity to 10%.
Export for Screens / Format SVG.
Format Settings:
Styling: Internal CSS
Font: Convert To Outlines
Images: Link
Objects IDs: Minimal
Decimal: 1
Minify: false

SVG export - ignores object style when fill is empty
While exporting to svg, Illustrator converts object styles to css classes. It works fine when object style has both fill and stroke, but when it's only stroke, Illustrator adds it's own generated classes (.cls-1) like if the object style didn't exist.

Illustrator Fails to request Disk access cannot access file system i.e. cant save the files!
I have a freshly set up m1 mac Illustrator 24.6.1 and I was stumped today when using Illustrator for the first time on it. When after working on a file I could not save it. Save, Save as, Save a Copy,"Save Before Your exit - save" all failed to do anything. I then tried opedning a file... I discovered that Illustrator had failed to get permission from Mac OS to work with files. So I was stuck with my work that needed to be saved!

Can't export selection properly
Have some simple artwork with some outlined type. Prior to the update, it all exported properly with "Export Selection..." Now it SHOWS it's going to export in the preview, but no matter what I do the majority of the text is absent. If I segregate the export to even simply one of the letters not exporting, it still exports incorrectly (even though the preview before the export shows the character) and results in an empty file!

上書き保存時に時々保存前のaiデータが勝手に複製される
バージョンはCC2022です。
「sample.ai」のデータを上書き保存すると「ai100000000sample.ai」（0部分は任意の数字）というファイルが時々勝手に複製されます。
削除しようとしても「権限がありません」と出て消せません（再起動すると消せるようになることがあります）
バグなのか設定の問題なのかわからなかったのでここで質問させていただきます。1 voteお手数ですが、一度こちらのAdobe Support Communityにございます内容をお試しいただけないでしょうか。

Exported files omit names of artboards
When I selected the page range, the exporting file didn't have the artboard name. I am using the latest version on mac m1 max with the latest system. After reinstalling the older version, the problem has gone.

illustrator 2022 will not place emf files due to unknown error
Illustrator will not allow me to place any emf files. I have windows 11, illustrator 2022 (latest version).

SVGs exported with 0 decimals have incorrect viewBox dimensions
When exporting the attached artwork as an SVG, the viewBox dimensions differ depending on whether or not the decimal precision is greater than 0:
Precision 0: <svg viewBox="0 0 76 23">
Precision 1: <svg viewBox="0 0 760 230">The contents of the artboard retain their original size; it's only the SVG's viewport that appears to be affected.

Clipping Mask broken in SVG export if name contains hyphen
An Illustrator document that contains a clipping mask will not export correctly if the path used for clipping has a - in the name.
In the resulting SVG code, the path definition looks like this:
<rect id="clipping-path" ... >
but the reference to it looks like this:
<use xlink:href="#clipping_x002D_path" ... >
You can see that the - was converted to "x002D" for the "use" tag, but not for the "rect" tag.

Crashes break CC linked assets in Recovered file.
When Illustrator 26.2.1 on Win10 Pro 21H2 crashes, CC-linked files are always broken in the recovered file. Please allow recovery files to remember the CC assets we so carefully curate and use daily - otherwise, we need to always embed external drawings (which sucks). Thanks!

Fonts fail to outline when exporting DXF file
Windows 11, Illustrator 26.3.1
I'm Exporting DXF files to a laser cutter. The outline font option in the export dialogue appears to be ineffective. Fonts aren't outlined and the font element doesn't appear in the exported file. All other elements are present. Outlining prior to export until I can downgrade to a previous version.
Recent PC death forced me to upgrade from Illustrator 2015 (I think) which had no issue with outlining fonts.1 vote
