1. Bug - Blank Workspace

   When I open an AI file there seems to be a 80/20 chance that it will not display properly. As the file is opening I can see everything but the moment it's fully loaded the workspace goes completely blank (gray without an artboard). I can still see toolbars and can move around the workspace. I can even select all and delete unseen assets but I can't draw new ones.

   I have to close and reopen the file multiple times until it happens to show up. I've already tried:
   • Resetting Preferences
   • Uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator
   • Renaming the UXP/other folders

   Machine Details:
   • Windows 11 Pro
   • Lenovo Thinkstation P3
   • GPU: RTX A2000 12GB
   • NVIDIA 535.98

3. Horizontal scroll doesn't work

   When I try to use 2 fingers on my trackpad (MSI GS65 Stealth) to scroll horizontally it brings up my media controls instead. I have a gesture for 3 fingers set to adjust volume and that works fine but for some reason it 2 finger horz scroll just brings up the media adjustments again.

4. Crash when clicking on options in … (More Options) popup in the Properties panel

   This one exist for at least a year: when object is selected and Properties panel docked to the right, click on the … (More Options) button in the Transform section. Then it either crashes immediately or when some option is modified (like "Scale Strokes and Effects").

   I remember I reported that while ago, but got no reply and obviously no attention from support team.

5. Paste in front places objects in a wrong position

   Just updated to Illustrator 28.3 on macOS Ventura 13.4 on iMac 19,1.
   Paste in front is fine on current artboard copied from. But paste in front does not land in corresponding location on another target artboard.
   i.e. - copy text or art from artboard A. Paste in front artboard A lands in exact same spot. Paste in front artboard B (same size, but to the right of A) lands at -6.568" @ 139.125° from artboard A location (up and to the left). Artboard C (2nd document) lands up and to the left -19.6735" @ 169.064° of expected location.

6. Scrollbar breaks using stylus (windows/wacom)

   While I'm using a stylus, if I use the scrollbar, illustrator acts as if I haven't released from the scroll bar and continues to wildly scroll, and all other features including closing the program are inaccessible. This continues even if I tab out of the program and doesn't stop until I force quit illustrator.

8. 'Creative Cloud Files' folder shortcut keeps appearing in Finder side bar

   I delete this shortcut every time it reappears, how can I stop it from reappearing? I thought Adobe deprecated the file sync? I have been seeing notifications about it going away in February 2024.

   Anyways, it's annoying, i've never used CC file storage, it would be great to be able to completely remove it from the UI.

9. command N for new doesn't work

   copy an item from a document
   hit "command N" to make a new document
   hit "return"
   new document dialog goes away, but a new document is not made

10. Values in Transform fields are missing and inactive

11. The windows I last opened are forgotten every boot up. Only the project window opens by default. (Switching Workspaces doesn't open windows)

12. Keybord shortcut doesn't work for Object > Expand

    I added a custom keyboard shortcut for
    Object > Expand (Alt+Shift+Ctrl+L)
    It has no conflict with any other shortcut

    For example, while I have a rectangle selected and it has a stroke applied, if I select the expand command from the menu, it works flawless.
    But if I hit the "Alt+Shift+Ctrl+L" keys, the shortcut won't work until I expanded first from the menu command

    Only after I clicked on the menu command, the keyboard shortcut starts working again

14. Bounding Box outside path and wrong dimensions

    After 22 years of using Illustrator, the bounding box does not works anymore as it was used to.
    When I draw a square of 10mm x 10mm with a centered path of 0,5mm the bounding box was always visualized precisely over the path and the dimensions of the square are 10x10mm
    Since yesterday (01.18.2024) the bounding box is visualized outside the path and the dimensions are 10,5 x 10,5mm
    Hope that is only a bug and not a feature

    This is a feature, and you can disable it.

    Go to Preferences > General and turn off Use Preview Bounds option in the bottom right corner.

    With this enabled Illustrator includes strokes into the measured bounds.

15. Selection of Advanced Option When Creating New Artwork Seems Buggy

    The drop down menu of the selections for Advanced Options when creating new artwork looks buggy. The selections text gets cut off, and the drop down menu bar seems condensed hence not able to see the text of the selection.

    I'm on Windows platform, desktop.

16. "export for screens" beachball bug

    I am on a M2 MBA running the latest macOS. I have a bluetooth Logitech MX master 3S. I have illustrator 28.1

    When using 'Export for Screen', if I have a document with 20+ artboards, there is a scrollbar on the Artboards tab.

    If I use the mouse LEFT BUTTON to drag the scrollbar or use the mouse LEFT BUTTON to click on the arrows on the scrollbar, Illustrator will beachball and I have to use Force Quit to close it.

    If I use the mouse WHEEL to scroll the panel, I am able to make my selections - the panel scrolls, I am able to tick items by using the LEFT BUTTON..

    I've noticed this behaviour for Illustrator 2022, 2023, 2024.

17. Toolbar menus display only two rows at a time

    I'm using Illustrator 28.0 on Windows 11 Professional, Lenovo ThinkPad laptop. Since the latest update, the toolbar menus show only two rows with the option to scroll up/down to see the other items (two at a time), which is very inconvenient. I've closed and restarted Illustrator, but no change to the interface.

20. Fix rich tooltips causing screen flickeringin still in 28.1 64 bit win 11

    Please fix rich tooltips. they still keep flickering the screen completely when the pop up. User fix is to turn rich tooltips off in prefernces.
