  1. "Selection" automatically jumping to "move" when clicking on an object and move action isn't retained

    Adobe Illustrator Version: 27.7
    Operating System: Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1

    Regardless of the file I'm working in, when I use my selection tool to select an object, upon moving my cursor the object starts moving like I'm clicking and dragging it (this is after tapping once on the object and letting go on the track pad). Then, when I move the object and click on the trackpad again, the object moves back to its original position and Illustrator makes an error alert noise.

    I have uninstalled Illustrator a few times, downloaded older versions from CC, and restarted my machine numerous…

  2. FONTS and text REMOVED

    Text removed. Sometimes its happens to me hat I open a file and all text is removed, fonts no showing up, but the text is not there any more. I can see there are text elements but are empty of text.

  3. Export svg doesn't work if symbol stainer used on a symbol

    I have noticed that an svg export adds a character in the svg code on a symbol in which the symbol stainer was used. When I break the link to the symbol, the svg exports as expected. I have been able to repeat this error.

  7. Free Distort and Perspective Distort don't appear in the Free Distort tool panel

    Free Distort and Perspective Distort don't appear in the Free Distort tool panel. They aren't anywhere in the tools menu, I really can't find them.
    How can i fix it? I'm using Illustrator 2023 27.7v

  8. Exporting SVG file with Preserve Editing Capabilities checked issue

    I have a doc with multiple artboards. When I export the SVG file, I select the individual artboard and export like usual, but recently it's been exporting the entire doc, with all the other artboards as well. Even previewing doesn't show all of the boards, I can only tell when I open the SVG file back up or look at the file size.

  10. Smart Guides do not work properly in large documents

    I don't know if this is a recent problem with the 2023 version on Illustrator, but when I'm working on very large documents, smart guides simply do not work. I have to zoom really close to be able to snap and align this correctly. I believe that the behavior of such functionally should be scalable and independent of zoom levels.

  12. All menu item shortcuts are grayed out

    Illustrator 2023, v27.7
    MacOS Ventura 13.2.1
    Wacom intuos pro
    Apple Magic Mouse

    at some point, all the shortcut menu items became grayed out...I can USE the actual shortcuts like CTRL+X and CTRL+V
    i can select the commands in the menu and get them to work...but it's weird... not sure if it is associated with other weird behaviors like not being able to select and move an object?

  13. Rotate around a circle changes colours and appearance

    When rotating around a center point on some angles the colours and shapes change of their own volition.

  14. Arrow keys just stop working in Illustrator 2023 Mac

    Since the last update to 27.7 on my Mac (Monterey 12.6.7), the arrow keys just stop working, andI have to quit and relaunch Illustrator to get them to work again.

  15. Se me cierra illustrator de manera inesperada y pierdo todos los cambios realizados

    Se me cierra illustrator y pierdo el trabajo de mas de 4 hs, aún habiendo guardado el archivo en pdf. No se porque no reconoce todos los cambios y se cierra automáticamente sin informar ningun error. Tengo windows 10

  16. File on cloud didn't save before crash

    I was editing a file from my cloud when suddenly it crashed. When i opened the Illustrator again , it says that the file was last edited 24 days ago , but i worked on it 7 days ago too.

    Windows 11 , Adobe Illustrator 27.7

  17. Bug deletou todo o arquivo que estava salvo no pc anteriormente

    Eu estava trabalhando no arquivo há 6 horas, salvando tranquilamente, quando transformei em traçado uma imagem tudo ficou branco como se tivesse deletado tudo. Fechei e abri de novo sem salvar, quando o arquivo abriu veio todo em branco.

  18. Tool bar and windows not visible on start up

    Illustrator doesn't show any toolbars/widows when it is starting up. Also, it's not possible to create a new document.

  20. SVG export Illustrator 27.6.1 and 27.7 not created

    Bonjour,

    Dans les versions 27.6.1 et 27.7 sur PC Windows 10, quand j'exporte mon fichier en utilisant Fichier>Exporter pour les écrans, je n'ai aucun fichier SVG créé. Rien.

    J'ai réinstallé la version 27.5 et çà marche.

    In versions 27.6.1 and 27.7 on Windows 10 PC, when I export my file using File>Export for screens, I have no SVG file created. Nothing.

    I reinstalled version 27.5 and it works.
