In order to change the location of where the files get exported to when using an Action, one needs to access the first dialog window that comes up when one uses the Export As… command. This could be accomplished in previous versions of Illustrator in a number of ways.
1. Toggle the “Dialog On/Off” to ON in the Actions panel
2. Select the Export As step in the Actions panel and use the Actions panel drop down menu to select Record Again…
3. Double click the Export As step in the Actions panel
In Illustrator 2018 this doesn’t happen anymore! Only the second dialog window that lets one specify various options for the file format in question comes up. This is not the desired behavior and needs to get fixed. -

The problem occurs in the Actions panel. When I first record the action Export As... the first dialog window that comes up is the one that lets me select the format for the file and the location where to save the file. After this a second dialog window comes up to specify the options for the particular file format chosen in the first step. This works fine like expected.
If, later on, I want to change the location of where the file gets saved, I used to simply use the Record again... command in the drop down menu of the Actions panel for the Export As... step. One can invoke this by either selection the Export As... step and using the Record Again... , as mentioned above, or by double clicking the Export As... step in the Actions panel.
In the past, this always brought up both of the dialog windows described above. With Illustrator 2018 it doesn't bring up the first dialog window anymore - only the second one. Therefore I'm unable to adjust where the file gets saved. This needs to get fixed! -

In Illustrator 2018 (OS X 10.12.6) the Record Again... function in the Actions panel doesn't perform properly for the Export As... command. It fails to bring up the first dialog window which lets one choose the format and location for the file. It only brings up the second dialog window that lets one choose the options for the current format.

To clarify: I don't get the dialog window that let's me choose the file format and where to save the exported file. The dialog window for the file options does show.
