An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commentedThis is available in Sketch (as are so many other helpful drawing functions that are missing from Illustrator) and it's a game-changer.
I now dread when I have to use Illustrator.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commentedYou can move patterns while holding ~ and click+dragging with the Selection Tool (v).
However, its implementation is terrible. There's no live preview of the pattern moving, so you just have to keep click-dragging, releasing, and re-adjusting. It's tedious and imprecise.
You can instead use the Move dialog (select the object and hit Enter/Return). Here, you can use Transform Pattern to move the pattern by precise increments with live preview.
Please, Adobe, make this function more intuitive.

Latest Beta Build 29.2.34 now adds Eyedropper in the Color Picker dialog to allow us pick colors from artwork.
Please try to test it and comment on if it works as you expect.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commented"Under review" since October 2017. Embarrassing.
Jeff D supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commentedWhen click-dragging within the color picker, the color selection resets if the cursor leaves the confines of the Color Picker window. This makes selecting white, for example, an inordinately precise interaction.
Every other color picker I've ever used follows cursor mousement outside the window. Instead of being flexible to imprecision, Illustrator penalizes its users.
It's embarrassing that Adobe can't get the basics right. Please fix this.

This workflow is horribly inefficient. Kills me.

The most recent version finally has the Object > Distribute menu added.
Now both Align and Distribute commands can be accessed via menu and have assigned keyboards shortcuts to them.
The order of the commands though seemingly matches the one the panel has: horizontal first for Align and vertical first for Distribute. If you find this odd and want to change it — vote here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/45855823-sync-the-order-of-align-and-distribute-menu-comman
Also, Align To and Distribute Spacing commands are still missing in top menus, so please keep voting here to make them added too.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commentedHow is this still not implemented?

As stated in the article linked below, Pantone’s licensing with Adobe got changed.
Due to this change, customers will need to purchase Pantone Connect licenses to access Pantone colors in Adobe Creative Cloud products.

Alas, this is the world today.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff D commentedLol.
Get a better business agreement and stop offloading work onto your customers. We pay you too much to have to jump through hoops for basic functionality.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
