Hi,
Thanks for the information provided to the Illustrator team.
We are able to reproduce this issue at our end and the engineering team is currently isolating this issue further to get to the root cause. With Best Regards,

It’s dangerous to call things Smart... When they behave dumb, the name sound like an insult. Sadly, this is the case.
Please provide more specific cases, with video proofs, ask you colleagues to share and vote, to move this further. This is the way to force changes to things that are broken — be vocal and persistent. Thank you all and let’s hope we get heard.
An error occurred while saving the comment David Cuesta commentedI just created 2 new bug reports for this. Cause obvs this one is from 2018. Can you guys try to get some traction on them. I included a screen recording too so they don't think I am just magically making it up. ...... Select more than one object and you can't snap to the artboard.
Also when you hold down shift and have smart guides on the smart guides conflict with the constraint. This started a few years back.
An error occurred while saving the comment David Cuesta commentedI have been having this issue for about 10 years since about 2008-2009. I can't remember when exactly. I just dealt with it and worked on silently. I have since started using Figma a lot and going back to Illustrator it is plain to see how bad the smart guides are. I mean basic stuff like trying to snap to the edge of an artboard does not work. Come on Adobe get real. This needs sorting. And please don't write to use asking us to reset our preferences, or for more information. Go into illustrator your self and try to test it. I mean we build medium size website and before we launch ANYTHING, event the smallest feature we test it like 50 times before launching it. How you can tell me any beta tester, or manager signed this off I don't know. Just go into Illustrator and try to snap to objects together. Try a circle onto an anchor point. Or try snapping something the edge of your artboard when grids are turned off.....

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

Just a general status update. We are currently and will continuously improve SVG import support in Adobe Illustrator. We are currently working on solving the issues mentioned in this report. Please feel free to open new bug reports here on uservoice if you are experiencing additional/untracked issues.

Hi Everyone,
We have added a preference to enable ‘Zoom with Mouse Wheel’. Go to Preferences→ General→ Enable ‘Zoom with Mouse Wheel’.
Also, now you can pan the doucment using the middle click of the mouse.
Both of these functionality are available since January 2021 release (version 25.1) onwards.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback

I am happy to share that we have shipped the Bullets and Numbering in 26.4 update for Illustrator. It’s a phased rollout so you may not see 26.4 update yet but it would rollout globally in a day or two.
You can read about this and other new features here ( https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new/2022-5.html ).

Hi Everyone,
This has been completed, and has available since June 2020 release (version 24.2)
Please go to Illustrator preferences > General > and select “Show/Hide Rulers” (refer attached screenshot). After checking this, if you hit ‘Show Rulers (Ctrl/Cmd + R)’, then the rulers will appear in every document (new and old), even after relaunching Illustrator.
Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback.

We are excited to announce that this feature is now available in BETA (starting V 29.1.28).
The new 'Generate color info' helps you share color information with others.
To use this, just select the colors from the swatch panel and click on 'generate color info' in the menu options.
You can customise the size, layout, color codes etc.
PS : Currently we only support CMYK values but other color codes such as RGB, HSB, spot vs process colors are in pipeline and we will ship them shortly.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!
Thanks
Saurav

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment David Cuesta commentedDear Yogesh,
Do you still need more info? Go try to do it yourself. It's a basic thing. Make something and then dimension it. It's not like you need to user test it on 10,000 users, its a pretty basic thing.
Basic conceptual Workflow:
- Draw a square
- Draw a line down one side
- Put in a measurement that says how tall the square is.If you can get the computer to learn the dimension of the square bonus!
Same concept for angles, circles, extrusions etc.
And again just to say no separate services, this should be a tool and a panel.
An error occurred while saving the comment David Cuesta commented- According to me this HAS to be in illustrator and not separate.
- Angles are good idea, but primarily it's width and length.
- Isometric 45° or 30° tool for 3D illustrations would also be hella useful.
- As mentioned before look at the way fusion 360 sketch tool works. Or even Sketch Up measure tool.An error occurred while saving the comment David Cuesta commentedIn response to Yogesh Sharma, have a look at Fusion 360 create drawing tool. It lets you pick sides and quick create dimensions on sides without having to draw lines and arrow heads and then having to write in dimensions.

Dimensions of object are incorrect when more than one object is selected in new update 25.4.1 (Mac OSX running latest version of Catalina.)
See below square is 600mmx600mm, when I then paste a complex group of objects and I select the outer circle it is 600x600mm. When I then go to select 2 or more of the circles the height goes loopy.
This issue actually was happening in 2019 but then got fixed. Now it's back again. Please fix it so it never comes back again.
