An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedCould someone from tech support comment here please? These bugs are a serious problem for me. I would at least appreciate a workaround. The problem is, once this happens, dividing up my documents into documents with fewer artboards does not help. Since I cannot copy and paste artboards into new documents, I am at a loss as to what I can do. Thanks!

This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image. That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.
At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedPlease make sure the "Rearrange Artboards" command does not mess up the position of artbords, with artboards ending up four decimal places off the pixel grid. Rearranging artboards should be safe, particularly, if the "Align Art to Pixel Grid" preference is ON!
Stephan Mönninghoff supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedI have posted this exact same bug. My workaround until this gets fixed is to delete and recreate the afflicted art boards. Not funny when you are dealing with 1.800 icons...
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedI have a workaround for those who are experiencing this. Delete the afflicted artboards and recreate them with pixel snap turned on. This will create new artboards with correct sizes.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedI have a document with 446 artboards, each containing an icon. When I issue my icons, sometimes the normal size is issued wrong (plus 1 px in width or height), sometimes the @2x size is wrong (plus 1 px in width or height) or both are wrong. This does not occur with documents with fewer artboards. I have a document which shows the issue clearly. I cannot share it here but support can have it. Thanks.
Update: I have managed to isolate one of the offending artboards in a single file. Its size is 26x20. When it gets exported, its size is 53x40. Expected 52x40.
It is attached. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commented@someone75 I just saw this and I cannot thank you enough for providing this useful enhancement to the code. It just saved me a day's work within 5 minutes.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commented@adobe if you implement this, please make it work for any file, not just SVG. I use this all the time but it requires me to batch-convert all my pngs to svg first, which has its own little side-effects...

An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedA search field in the Artboards palette would solve the problem. Unfortunately, the script from Sergey does not seem to work any more. Illustrator is just throwing errors.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commented@Sergey Osokin like all your scripts, this is very good! I love the live search as you type in the artboard name. It solves a lot of problems with the whole Illustrator artboard misery. Thank you very much for making this available!
I wanted to make a donation via PayPal but it is currently restricted. I am sorry this is affecting you personally!Stephan Mönninghoff supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedYes please. I am constantly looking for artboards in a large icon design file. No workarounds for this either so this would be a welcome improvement.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedI have wished for this so many times. Artboards should become first class citizens!

An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedThank you Egor. Uservoice is not ideal for tracking bugs, but you have to work with what you have in front of you. It feels like anything I enter just vanishes into nowhere, especially if it is getting no 'votes'. As someone else has commented before - it shouldn't matter. A bug is a bug.
I will enter new bugs with videos attached for the issues you had questions about. I trust you will find them.
Thanks again! An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedThanks Egor for your comments. Just a couple of replies:-
Paste in place should not be 'mitigated'! It should work as one would expect. Or, at leat there should be an option to work either way.
Artboards feel like an afterthought. I generally like them. I also like the workflow as compared to slices, which we had before. I wear the hat of an icon designer a lot of times and I am dealing with hundreds of artboards. I want to be able to hit ctr-D to repeat the last duplicating command, like I can with objects. I don't want invisible guides to be moved along with the artboard. I don't want a message telling me that invisible objects will not be copied when I copy an artboard to clipboard EVERY SINGLE TIME!Why is this listed as an 'idea'? It's not an idea. That is a terrible euphemism. It's a complaint.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedAdd to the LONGSTANDING bug list: Copying and pasting in place will NOT PASTE IN PLACE but paste in place on the last visited artboard, which is ultra-annoying and irks me every day.
Add to the list that smooth scrolling does not work in pixel preview.
Add to the list that we still have no @2x pixel preview.
Holding alt while hitting enter will not duplicate and move an object about 30 minutes into a session. Needs restart to resume working.
But we get awesome new 3D effects. IN A 2D GRAPHICS APP!!!!! If I want 3D I use CAD!Stephan Mönninghoff supported this idea · -

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedI am surprised that not more users find this annoying. Please make it possible to use animated zoom in pixel preview. I use this accidentally because it is in the muscle memory and it doesn't just not work but it makes the entire drawing jump to an unpredictable crop.

An error occurred while saving the comment Stephan Mönninghoff commentedIt annoys me too, constantly. My workaround is to group and ungroup. This SOMETIMES sends objects to the current layer but often, I still have to execute "Send to Current Layer" so it's sometimes one operation and sometimes two. Which is annoying.

Thank you Egor, I think the arrow issue and the moving artboard has been fixed (or, the moving artboards were user error). I have not seen the anti-aliasing recently, maybe this is because I mainly export SVG now. I will try later if I can reproduce this.
