Adding more brushes to the touch workspace...
I would like to be able to change my brush style while I'm working in the touch workspace. I can go into the essentials workspace and it reverts back to a simple brush when you change back to the touch workspace. It's extremely frustrating. Other programs can use other brushes and change layers, so it makes using Illustrator for drawing very difficult.

Stop with the survey
Please stop making the **** survey strip popup. I think I’ve had to close it at least 20 times over the past three months. It really irks me and makes me a little upset every time - it is really distracting.

Introduce bevel joint clamp values for strokes
Adobe's miter limit is something quite weird. I was lucky to find and bookmark this article to learn it, finally:

Kaleidoscope Pattern making
Adobe Capture already has this option. I wish you could implement this into the pattern making options. I believe there are even more ways to create patterns, it would be nice to have those options.

Return greeking of vector graphics
AI is never fast enough. Pan is slow.
Why did you remove greeking completely? If I wanted to better have nice looking art while panning, I would tick an option in Preferences! But now there's no such an option.
InDesign still have greeking option fro both text and vector art.
Please return it back as an option (and add slider for quality, as ID has).21 votes -
Make ability to make warnings show in background and not in dialogue windows
Right now we can click OK/Enter every time interrupting warning dialogue pops up, or tick 'Never show again'.
I would prefer background message, same as 'Shape expanded' now appears.
For example, I use Ctrl+J combination to connect all my segments in one closed path. I can have two or more segments, and just press this combination several times to achieve my goal, rather then count how many times I should press it. But when path is finally closed, AI throws a warning at me. Usually my hands press keys one more time after that and AI beeps-blinks, which is awful…20 votes -

Action: Insert Conditional
In the Photoshop Action panel there's "Insert Conditional" allowing you to set logical conditions for action behaviour. Illustrator should have this too. It's neat.
It's useful for making action behaviour more inteligent and relevant to the document, eg. doing one or another thing depending on whether the document is landscape or portrait, colour mode, etc.
Another way it can be used is to create toggle buttons for things that Illustrator doesn't currently have shortcuts for (eg. Scale Strokes & Effects). Presently you have to create two separate keybindings for each action, whereas the conditional allows you to toggle with a…

Effects Gallery interface extremely tiny on 4K resolution screen - Windows 10. No fix for it.
Using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator. I've just bought a brand new Dell XPS 15 it has a 1050 NVIDIA Graphics card, Windows 10 and a 4K screen. The interface is extremely tiny. It's usable but the effects gallery is too tiny to use.
I'm not sure if this a "bug" per se, but none of the fixes available online work (this included creating a Prefer External Manifest file and code for the Illustrator executable file). What I've read says this is a problem Adobe needs to address.

wrong asset export folder android
Asset export for android , create sub-folder create folder 1x, 2x, 3x... which is for iOS . it should be drawable-xxxhdpi sub-folder following android guideline.

Asset export has a feature to create folders on scale factors. The suffix that you are expecting as part of the foldername is not built. I am moving this as a feature request.

Paste with User Controlled Placement
Currently paste function tosses the pasted object to the center of the pasteboard.
This causes issues with selecting/locating the pasted object and it is an inefficient tool for productivity.
Like other design software the Paste function should provide the user with a controlled landing position by showing the full sized boundary of the incoming pasting object while it automatically follows the mouse.
This is feature is much more efficient to design than the current paradigm.

Show all tabs when switching to fullscreen mode
When switching to Full Screen Mode I can only see the document I'm working with. Why not show all the open documents like tabs?
I don't understand why the tabs disappear just because I'm switching to fullscreen.

Increase size of Gradient stops boxes (too small for older eyes)
Ideally the gradient stop boxes would be a little larger. When working with many gradients, it's time consuming trying to hit that little box to change a color. I'm aging, so my bad, but even slightly larger would be wonderful.

Put all Blend options and commands into one dialog / panel
Blend Tool > Blend Options Panel stinks, nothing personal.
I use the Blend tool. A lot. When I start a blend, the Properties Panel helpfully tells me that I have a Blend. Thanks for that. But I still have to go to Object > Blend > Blend Options to get any options for the Blend tool. What if the Blend tool options would magically appear in the Properties panel while I'm using that tool?Also, the Blend Options panel will not let me make any changes to the blend other than Spacing or Orientation. To have an option in stroke panel to keep end points vertical/horizontal on angled strokes
Would love an option to easily have the endpoint of a stroke remain vertical/horizontal when using angled strokes. To 'shear' a stroke isn't easy, so could this be an option in the Stroke panel?

Pattern origin
Why is the pattern anchored to the art board and not the item? I often create shapes and apply a pattern (lets say a plaid) and I adjust the alignment of the pattern so that it is equal on all sides. If I then copy the shape containing the pattern so that I can then offer the client a different color combination of the pattern, I now have to nudge the pattern of the new shape to align properly again! Because the pattern is anchored to the art board not the shape.
2 votesThis behavior can be toggled in Preferences > General > Transform Pattern Tiles.
Once enabled, the pattern stays relative to the object it’s applied to, when you move or copy it between documents.
It also makes it deform if you stretch, resize, rotate, skew or transform the object, because it’s all a part of 'transformations' we can make.
