Restore pressing Ctrl + Alt + Enter in Transform’s Width and Height fields to constrain proportions AND copy at the same time
I thought I could explain this feature only with a video. Even though it was difficult and I took risks, I was able to prepare it by finding a portable CS 11 version.
I want this feature back for Transform Palette. Because they destroyed it or forgot about it or no one knows about it.

Pattern Editing Mode - Add options copies 1x2 2x1 and 2x2 - Disable Thumbnail - Performance Enhancements
For more complicated patterns, 3x3 is too many copies to at least visualize how something tiles. If it's a brick, 1x2 or 2x1 would even be helpful, but at least 2x2 so you can see all seams.
Please create an option to disable the preview thumbnail in pattern editing mode. The thumbnail redraws for every edit, so more complicated patterns not only have to redraw on screen, but also create a miniature version. Hopefully those previews are images but if not, may be causing further issues when scaling down vectors.
Would it be possible to make a draft quality preview…

Width Tool Changes When Adding New Points or Mirroring and Joining Objects
This issue really affects me, especially when I create an entire path, but then gets destroyed due to more points. Could you consider getting rid of width profiles or make an option to disable it? I want the width point to stay at the exact same place all the time just like anchor points! Also the width tool points can be very inaccurate, as shown in the picture below.

Files should remember proof setup
Every time I open my files I'm having to force Illustrator back to proof as Monitor RGB. It keeps defaulting to Working CMYK which is no use on an RGB file.
It would be great if files retained proof settings.

Recognize the Develop settings applied in Camera Raw
When I drag a jpg image from Bridge to Illustrator, I would like for Illustrator to recognize the Develop settings that I applied in Camera Raw without first saving the image as a separate file.
Later changes to the Develop settings would then prompt an update in Illustrator like it does currently when a file is changed.1 vote -
Firefly Text to Image and Text Effects inside illustrator
Text to Vector is Awesome, will be nice to have Firefly Text to Image and Text Effects directly in illustrator, so we can preview our generations with other compositing assets in canvas.
Maybe a Firefly Panel, where we can choose what we want to generate, vector, image, or text effect.

Moved and pasted objects keep thrown off by 0.0001 pixels
I'm trying to copy, paste, then merge items. However, the pixels keep getting thrown off by .0001 pixels. Even when I put it back in place, it moves back to .0001 px above or below the actual coordinate. I already spoke to a team that did not do anything about it. This has been costing me literally over 100 hours of wasted time. I now give up and can't sleep knowing my pixels are not rounded to the nearest desired coordinate. Sort menus alphabetically when Cmd+Opt+Shift / Ctrl+Alt+Shift, like in InDesign
Illustrator has a lot of things put in menus.
The sorting order in some (like View or Object) can be unobvious for new users (and surely some older ones as well).InDesign allows to sort menus temporarily by holding Cmd+Opt+Shift / Ctrl+Alt+Shift while clicking one — make Ai do the same!
An interesting thing is — helpx.adobe.com does not know about it at all. Another sacred technique :/ Terry White figured it out somewhere, but where did he get it from? ...accidentally?

Keyboard shortcut to select next anchor point along path (incl shift+ to select more than one)
Implement keyboard shortcuts to select the next anchor point along a path. So if I have selected one anchor point, I can hit that shortcut, and I will have moved to the next anchor point along the path.
Also include the option to shift+{shortcut} to select more than one anchor point.

Share for Review with watermark
While I like the Share for review feature, I would appreciate if there was an option to activate watermark.
The benefits of watermarks are too numerous to list, but the most important is:

Text to Vector Graphics (Beta) Feature: Delete multiple Variations
Hello,
Please add the option to delete multiple AI generated variations.
At this moment, if you hit the limit of generated variations, you are only able to select and delete 1 at a time, (which is very time consuming) instead of selecting multiple variations for deletion.

Allow Transform effect applied to an object to transform its the opacity mask also
If I apply Transform effect to an object with an opacity mask (to move or scale it parametrically, for example), only the object will be transformed — but not the contents of its opacity mask.
This is not consistent with the destructive method, when you actually move or scale this object...The workaround is to apply the same effect to the contents of the opacity mask, but it does not always have the same effect, since the contents can have different bounds, and the transformation points will differ.
There should be an 'Affect Opacity Mask' option in the Transform effect…

Show 'Can’t join a path' message as a soft one
Modal dialogs are very dated. They grab attention, they interrupt workflows, they yell at you. Most times we don’t need these as loud as they are — a whisper is nice.
And Ai actually now has these, 'soft' messages, like the one we get when we modify a live shape — 'Shape expanded', at the top of the view, in a gray rectangle. Calm, non-intrusive, with auto-destruction timer. Nice!But there are other, legacy warnings and screams.

Rotate with arrow keys. Hold R to turn nudge in to rotate.
I love being able to nudge the selected object with the arrow keys, I want a modifyer key that allows rotation in the same way. example: R key + arrow key rotates. Left and right arrows might be one degree increments. Up/ down could be 15 degree - which quickly gets people to the super common angles 30, 45, 60

Select and change stroke color in text
I have text templates that require changing the fill and stroke colors. I have to select the text, go to Appearance, choose Type, and change the color. The issue is that there are several texts with different combinations throughout the day.
It would be great if I could set the three text colors as shown in the image, select one, then use an action that allows me to choose the text color, either fill or stroke, and change it to another from my swatch.

Add First Object Above / Last Object Below commands in Select menu
Illustrator provides two ways to access Next Object commands:
1. From Select menu
2. From the context menu, Select submenuAnd while the context menu provides four commands, the Select menu gives only two. First Object Above / Last Object Below — for no apparent reason — are missing, and we can’t assign hotkeys to these because of it.
Please add them there.
