Stuck on Rotate or Reflect Tool - Wacom Input Device
I have run into this issue many times over the years (multiple AI versions) and figured I'd add to the posts about it.
When using either the Rotate or Reflect tool, Illustrator often gets stuck. What I mean by stuck is that after trying to rotate or reflect some artwork, the Rotate or Reflect tool remains active as if you never released right click. This makes it so that every subsequent movement just rotates around the artwork as though you were still holding down right click. If you try to click elsewhere in the program, nothing happens. Rename layer problem in 24.2; cursor disappears

Attempting to rename a layer in the Layers panel
Prior behavior: that the cursor would appear, could then be moved via the arrow keys

It is no longer possible to speed up vertical scroll holding SHIFT
Holding SHIFT causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.
Holding SHIFT + CMD causes AI to fast scroll horizontally.IE - no longer possible to fast scroll vertically??

Window, Control has disappeared
Under 'Window', under 'Control', the Control bar does not appear at the top of my workspace, as it did in all prior versions of Illustrator.

Can't Pinch Zoom when the free transform tool is selected
I'm using a MacBook Pro (2,9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7) with MacOs 10.15.6 and can't Pinch Zoom when the free transform tool is selected. With other tools it works fine.

impossible to add to graphic styles by dragging from the canvas (version 25.0)
It is impossible to add an appearance of an object to the Graphic Styles Panel just by dragging it into the Panel. The less intuitive ways do work (click the "New Graphic Style" button on the bottom of the Panel or using the fly-out Menu.

Alt + Scroll wheel doesn't zoom
Just updated to 23.05 (64 bit windows 10) and the alt+mouse wheel no longer zooms. It just scrolls left and right same as CTRL+mouse wheel. If I use ALT+Shift+Mouse wheel it does scroll.

Create New - custom screen unavailable
I recently had to uninstall and reinstall. Now when I try to create a new custom document these screen is blank and doesn't give me the options needed to create the specs I need. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, but no luck.

keyboard modifiers no longer work with Transform panel
Up until the latest release of Illustrator, pressing Command-Return after entering a new height or width for an object in the Transform panel would scale it proportionately. This no longer works and pressing Return does nothing if any modifier key is held down. The same is true for holding Option while pressing Return (this used to transform as a duplicate but has not worked for a while). No x- and y-values for rectangles in the top menu bar
The last Update 24.2 installed. When drawing a rectangle there are no more x- and y-values shown in the top menu bar!!! So they can’t be edited. Only the width and height is shown. How miserable.
1 voteI happens when the width of the screen is not wide enough to fit all the elements the Control panel can display. Some blocks, especially from the Transform section, get omitted.
To workaround this without purchasing a larger display, one can open the Control panel's flyout menu, untick some options, like Align, and check if the section needed returns. Minor issue - Old date on splash screen (2019 instead of 2020)
I launched version 24.2.3 and noticed that it says © 1987-2019 instead of © 1987-2020 on the splash screen. Other up-to-date Adobe apps says 2020.

Icon enlarge for no reason
This has been a little bit of a problem. I have latest version of Adobe Illustrator version 24.1.2 running macOS Catalina 10.15.4. It a little annoying and I thought the next update would have solve the issue but it did not. Here is a bug that is strange. Thanks!

Properties-Panel broken since last update
since the last update the properties-panel is broken. Even if there is enough room for all informations in the panel, it shows up cropped, with a scrollbar on the side. I have to drag the panel out of it’s window and then back again to fix this, every time I start Illustrator.

"New..." Window won't pop up after recent update
When you click 'new...' to start a new file... nothing happens. The window should pop up.

Hand Tool crashing a lot
After the nee uptade the hand tool just dont work properly when using the space bar as shortcut.

Recent file history missing on app launch
Since updating to the latest version, on starting Illustrator I just get the "start a new file fast" section but no recent file history icons.
Once I've opened and then closed a file the app returns to the home screen and then my recent history is showing but the Start A New File Fast bit has gone.
Once I close illustrator down and re-open it the history disappears again :(
Using Illustrator v24 via a Creative Cloud Suite account on Windows 10. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing. No change.
