Blob Brush changes size after undo operation
Illustrator CC 2017.1.0
I Select blob brush on 2pt.
Draw a bit with it
Hit undo and the blob brush suddenly changes to a much larger size even though it says 2pt in the menu
The only way to get it back is to go to Blob brush menu, select 1pt hit ok, then go back to blob brush menu and select 2pt again.
I expect that when I hit undo the blob brush will stay the correct size
It changes size every time I hit undo
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Has this been fixed or will it ever be? I thought Adobe was better than this...I can't believe there is still no solution after all the reports of this issue..

Having the same problem, but not after undo. I will make a number of strokes with the brush at a certain size setting, then the next stroke for no discernible reason will be thicker. The only thing that fixes it is going back into the brush settings, changing the size, then changing it back again.

Happened to me after working on the same file for hours. Infuriating, restarting Illustrator etc. didn't help once it started. It's every time you undo (cmd + z).

This glitch is driving me absolutely nuts! I used the program for hours without issue before and now whenever I use the blob brush and ctrl+z it resets it and I have to change something in the brush setting for it to go back to the one i was using. this is very inconvenient I have reinstalled, updated and still the same issue. t.t

Well, its 2018 and I am still desperate with the same problem with blob brush tool. Creating new brush is not an option, because I use blob brush tool and I frequently switch to different sizes, angles etc and every time create a new brush is just a pain. For one simple work I maybe would create around 50 brushes.

Same problem in January 2018, using Illustrator 22.0.1 on Mac OS High Sierra, 10.13.2 and a Wacom tablet (Intuos Pro 5)

Rachel -- Try resizing the Blob brush using CTRL + [ or ]
(square bracket) That seemed to work for me, although I've not tested it thoroughly. -

I have the same problem. It is driving me crazy. Upgrading to CC2018 does not help either...

I have a screen recording I can send. I noticed that the brush defaults to the Touch Calligraphic Brush after the undo.

Hi Sarah,
I just updated to the newest version of Illustrator CC and it’s also not doing it anymore. If it starts doing it again, then yes, I will send a screen recording -
