Shift hold (Constrain angle) within gradient use not working
When I shift hold a gradient now it doesn't snap (constrain angle) in Illustrator. I've checked my general settings and constrain angle is set to 0°... have I missed something? Version 23.0
We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.2
Please refer to our knowledge base FAQ – https://illustrator.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1844590 if you face difficulty in update.

What happened to the gradient tool? What happened to shift constraint? What have you done to Illustrator?

Same problem. Just updated, I'm about to go back to the last version of illustrator because this is a deal-breaker for me.

Same issue and it's screwing up our productivity. Not cool. We run businesses off of this software... you guys should have some competition in the marketplace to make you honest. This sucks.

Fix this basic issue! Ridiculously that it’s taken this long for a professional subscription application team to resolve such a basic feature.

@Lance, these are Illustrator bugs, NOT Photohop!

I'm still having this issue since October, why is this taking so long to fix? As the previous comment mentioned, you are making changes to fundamental conventions that you trained us to use over many years, and by making these unwanted tweaks, you are impacting workflow, now we need to find alternative methods to do what once were menial tasks. I like the idea of restoring legacy shortcuts.

I am amazed this is an issue. There's been a lot of "changes" going on to very basic, legacy Adobe conventions. Specifically with Shift. Now in Photoshop you have to press shift to DISABLE constraining proportions. What is going on at Adobe? are you letting the interns Product Manage?
This last batch of updates have been nothing but a nightmare both on Illustrator and Photoshop. Don't mess with these conventions, or at least allow a "use legacy" option. -

there´s no reason why this hasn't been fixed

Same problem. No angle constraints with SHIFT and no visual indicator of the angle being drawn.
