Clicking an item in a dropdown menu also clicks through into the underlying panel
Describing my program layout:
With my panels locked to the right hand side of the program, I have two columns of panels, Stroke/Brush/Color/etc. on the far right (minimized to select individual panels to expand when needed), and "Swatches" as a standalone column locked to the left of my other panles and constantly expanded.Describing the error:
With the Swatches Panel column expanded, and my other panels stacked and minimized, if I were to select the Stroke Panel from the right, and expand that single Panel from the column it would overlap the swatches panel. Making Arrowhead selections from the dropdowns ends up selecting from the underneath Swatch panel. This causes my fill/stroke color to change to whichever swatch happens to be "under" the arrowhead dropdowns when I make a selection.I have not tested this with other Panels, but it occurs often enough in this setup that it's a severe disruption to my workflow and adds unwanted colors to existing artwork that is not intended, and may not be caught prior to production. Photo attached shows unintended swatch selection after dropdown arrowhead selection was chosen.

Artboards and arrowheads disappear
Mac OSX 10.13.6 Illustrator 24.0 Creative Cloud
Opened a file
strokes with arrowheads to be strokes and artboards that were present when the file was closed to still be there.
Strokes were dropped to shapes and grouped and the artboards were gone.I've seen this before and I can't figure out why it's happening. I have a file that I just worked in a few days ago and now when I open it, all the strokes I had with arrowheads are broken down into a shape for the line and a shape for each arrowhead and then the whole thing is grouped multiple times. On top of the stroke issue there were 3 artboards in the file when I closed it the other day. Now there is only one artboard. The artwork is there where the artboards should be, but the artboards themselves are gone.

Crashing when scaling objects and file disappears after saving
Program often crashes when I'm scaling large objects. Also, I saved a file that I had been working on for more than a week and closed the application like I usually do but when I reopened it? File gone. Erased. Can't even find an earlier version of it. Then I got a bunch of note and word docs titled "debug" full of HTML gibberish I couldn't understand. Couldn't recover or find file in deleted cloud files or recycling bin on desktop.

Layer access arrows missing
the arrows that you click on to access the layers are gone. there is no clickable link, or visible arrow anymore.
I have restarted both program and computer, then uninstalled and reinstalled. It is still not working.

Object move increments is off
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6
Illustrator 24.3
Updated 09/26/2020Checked preferences, changed to .001 px and rebooted illustrator
Selecting an object and pressing the arrow keys the object would move a point at a time, now it is like I am always holding the shift (10px) instead.
After the update I select an object and try to move it a point or two moves it randomly in every direction but the direction I would like.

alt drag art boards not working STILL
this is still not working. Now and again it does, then it doesn't again. It doesnt' copy the art board.
I can't see how to even check on my previous but reports, or find other ones I've voted for, I don't understand this process. Please will you fix it?1 vote -

Cannot copy and Paste text from illustrator to mail or other programs
In the previous versions of Illustrator I could copy and paste text into other programs. Since I have updated to version 24.2.3 all attempts to paste text elsewhere result in an un-editable pdf. I found some ridiculous work arounds online, but it's serious affecting my work flow. I'm running Mohave 10.14.6. Tried monkeying with the clipboard settings to no avail.

Creative Cloud Automatic Shut Down
This might not be a libraries issue.
My office is working off of Illustrator 24.1.3 and Photoshop 21.2.1. Recently Several of us has encountered an issue where all open CC programs will spontaneously decide to shut down. This isn't a catastrophic issue thanks to the fact that all files that have unsaved changes will ask if the user wants to save, similar to if they had used the short cut to quit. The difference here is there isn't a cancel option on the save prompt, and this happens to both Illustrator and Photoshop simultaneously, as though both programs have been commanded to quit beyond the user's influence.
If this is a form of crash prevention, it's pretty great! Giving the user the chance to save everything before it all goes under is a fantastic way to prevent the worst case scenario. However, it doesn't read like a crash.
Is this something intentional, a bug, or perhaps an error that's been fixed on a more recent version?

Library panel crashes and becomes black after selecting Next Object Above / Below
If you select an assets from the library window (e.g. click a colour to apply to your working artboard) and then use the keyboard shortcut for Next Object Above / Below, it causes the Libraries panel to go black and it won't re-appear until Illustrator is rebooted.

Literally Everytime I open it it shows a grey screen after the Adobe Startup.
Im using AI and Photoshop 2020 and I cant open it at all. Though it shows no problem when I open a file. Its just I cant make new files, it doesnt work. My university work i have been postponed for 2 weeks because of this. Please help.

Illustrator 2020 doesn't allow me to CREATE A NEW FILE!
I need to open an existing and save as. It only is letting me download pre-saved templates. C'mon - that's not a bug - that's a fatality. And even if I'm reading the popup wrong, why make it so difficult? Switching over to Sketch...

UI input boxes show text with low baseline shift
Operating System: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6
Illustrator version: 2020 v24.3Most input boxes show text that "hangs" low, making it difficult to see what is being typed in.
This also occurs in InDesign but not in Photoshop (all apps are up-to-date).1 vote -
svg repeated symbols are invisible
When attached svg is opened in Adobe Illustrator 2020 - second usages of glyphs (B, 2, 0) are not displayed properly like in attached screenshot.
Is this an issue with original svg (it looks fine in Chrome or Firefox) or Illustrator?1 vote -

The new document preset for print defaults to iPhone mockups. Letter and legal and tabloid might be better choices

PDF書き出しをすると時々、反映されないオブジェクトがある
10コほどのレイヤーがあるイラストレーターをスクリプト：「レイヤーごとにPDF保存」にすると一番最後に書き出されたレイターの一部だけPDFに反映されないことがある。データが重たいとよく起こる。

BUG - perspective grid - ground plane widgets disappear
The Left and Right ground level widgets DISAPPEAR when the vanishing points are adjusted moderately far apart. There seems to be no way to make them visible again, which makes it hard to move the entire perspective grid to another location.

BUG - perspective grid planes disappear permanently
If the grid cell size is adjusted -- while some planes are turned off (with temporary SHIFT-hide function) -- the hidden planes cannot be made to reappear.
Select Left plane. Hover grid tool over an intersection in Left plane.
Press SHIFT. The right and ground planes disappear.
Adjust cell size with diamond widget.
Now try to make right plane or ground plane visible again -- gone forever.
This bug seriously interferes with using the Perspective Grid tools.
