1. Images and Shadows Not Rendering Correctly

   I am having issues with build 29.8.2.
   When I link photos to my artboards and add drop shadows to shapes or objects, the display is not rendering them. It will show them, but if I move or zoom out, sometimes they go away. And if I export my artboards, these issues carry over. The images dont export, there is just a grey circle where that masked image is supposed to be. And shadows from one object to the next are different, just not even there. How can I fix this?

2. Rotating an object with 3D Extrude & Bevel causes pixelation in v29.8.2

   I don't know if any user has raised this before, but the 3D Extrude and Bevel in Illustrator (29.8.2) has an issue. When trying to manipulate an object by rotating it, the object completely pixelates as it is adjusted. It's impossible to ascertain the positioning as it just becomes a massed blob of pixels whilst I am trying to position it. Whether positioning it manually, or by using the X,Y, Z sliders, the problem still persists. Zooming in doesn't work either (the pixellation just increases in size). See screen grab- as you can see, the item I am trying to manipulate is completely pixelated as and whenever I try to reposition it.

   The Classic version doesn't have this issue, and the object remains clear at all times. A shame as the new version has more features, but it's quite unusable because of this.

   Can you sort this issue out?

3. Real Time Drawing & Editing will not turn off for drawing shapes

   When I have Real Time Drawing & Editing turned OFF, shapes (rectangle, ellipse) still show up filled while drawing, instead of just the vector outline as expected.

   Steps to recreate:
   turn off real-time drawing & editing
   select random fill color
   select shape tool
   draw shape

   expected result: only vector outline is seen during drawing
   actual result: filled shape is seen during drawing

   I tested this and found the same behavior on both my Windows 10 desktop and my Windows 11 Laptop, both running Illustrator 29.8.1 (64-bit).

   There is no problem when moving an object, that still displays the vector outline as expected.

   Fixed and works as it should do in Beta 30.0.0.72 — please try to install it (or update if it’s installed) and verify if it works for you, before it gets pushed into General build.

4. Extremelly laggy experience

   I have i9 14th gen CPU, 64 GB Corsair vengeance RAM , a 5090 RTX.. still my illustrator lags like crazy... It runs 10X smoother in my mac with M1 pro chip and 16GB RAM! This is soo annoying, I loose hours daily because of this lag...

7. This file will not allow viewing in GPU mode on my computer. It works fine on other computers.

   Apple M2 Max Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2023 OS 15.6 (24G84)

   Using Illustrator 29.7.1

   Upon opening this file (attachement wouldn't work - please provide another way to transfer) I can not use GPU mode no matter what I do. I tried reinstalling all of Creative Cloud, and then completely wiped my computer and started fresh. The file is still glitchy. It seems to only happen on my computer. Colleagues do not have an issue with the file. Happy to provide the packaged file, just can't upload zip here.

10. Artwork gets drawn duplicated

    Object glitches appearing in Illustrator when using the new 2021 - 25.3.1.

11. Curved paths not honouring guide styles / Guides are not dotted

    When converting artwork to guides, anything that has a curved path does not show the guide style set up in preferences. In my case I have guides set up as a dashed line with a light grey colour. What I'm seeing is a solid black line. Happens in AI 29.6.1 and the beta 29.7 88. Sample shows two shapes converted to guides but the ellipse remains as a solid black line. Using MacOS 14.7.6.

13. GPU Preview glitches with clipping masks and transparency (since Illustrator 29.6.0), white rectangle appears below

    I've encountered a rendering issue starting in Illustrator 29.6.0, and it's still present in 29.6.1. Here's how to reproduce it:

    1. Create a simple circle.
    2. Create a simple rectangle.
    3. Place the circle inside the rectangle using a clipping mask.
    4. Apply any transparency to the circle (e.g., set opacity < 100%, or add a drop shadow).

    Result:
    The rendering becomes corrupted for any object positioned beneath the clipping mask (try placing a filled shape underneath to see the issue clearly).

    Additional Notes:

    The issue only appears in GPU Preview.
    Switching to CPU Preview restores correct rendering.
    Changing the color profile or color model did not resolve the issue.
    Deleting Illustrator's preferences folder also had no effect.
    Rolling back to Illustrator 29.5 resolves the issue.
    Apologies for not including a screenshot – I rolled back to 29.5 before capturing one.

    System:
    iMac Retina 5K (27", 2017)
    macOS Ventura 13.7.6

16. Black table screen

    With the latest Windows update, every time I open or create a new file, the desktop screen goes black. I tried uninstalling the latest version and reverting to previous versions, and the same thing happens.
    My computer is an HP Pavilion.
    Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics 2.00 GHz.
    Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable).
    System type: 64-bit operating system, x64 processor.

17. Illustrator keep blacking out the top part of my artboard.

    My version of Illustrator: 29.5.1 running on Windows 11:
    Keeps blacking out the top portion of my window. I can scroll a little and make it go away, but it sure is annoying and sometimes won't go away.

19. Problemas para presentar pantalla

    Hola, tengo problemas al querer presentar pantalla en Adobe Illustrator (última versión, aunque me estuvo pasando con las últimas 4 actualizaciones). Cuando aprieto Mayús + F o aprieto la opción de Modo presentación, la pantalla se bugea y hace glitches. Desde ya, gracias por su ayuda y atención.

20. Sudden and constant "Out of GPU memory" error, Ai 29.4

    I am suddenly getting constant "Out of GPU memory" errors, which renders all the graphics in "Outline" view, and crashes Illustrator. It just started occurring today (Wednesday April 23, 2025). Yesterday everything was fine.
    
    Mac Studio, M2 Max, 64 GB RAM, Sonoma. Ai 29.4

    My CS6 version of Illustrator at home on an old Mac, runs so much better than anything coming out of Adobe ever since this Creative Cloud debacle disaster!
