  1. Artboard Borders / Guides / Grid Disappear when Scrolling/Panning

    When I scroll or pan with the scrollbars or the hand tool the black border of the artboards disappear. This is super annoying as I keep my canvas white, so when I'm moving around the canvas, I can't see where the artboards are until I release the hand tool.

  2. Bitmaps display as vertical lines in GPU Preview in AI 28.5

    Multiple mentions of bitmaps showing as vertical lines. Displays correctly in CPU Preview in 28.5 but is broken in GPU preview. 2023 does not have this problem on the same system.

  4. Animated zoom bug (workspace flickers and turns black when in a group)

    1. Windows 11 (latest)
    2. Illustrator 28.3
    3. The screen flickers and turns black using Animated Zoom within a group. If I exit the group (using escape), the screen returns to normal. Animated Zoom works normally as long as I am not within a group.

    The video I've uploaded shows me double-clicking a group to enter it, then using Animated Zoom to produce the flickering and black screen. I hit escape to exit the group, and the screen returns to normal. I then demonstrate that Animated Zoom works correctly when not within the group.

  5. GPUプレビューモードで高解像度２階調の埋め込み画像の表示がおかしくなる。

    macOS13.6.6〜13.6.7
    Illustrator ver.28.5

    再現手順
    1.1200ppi程度のモノクロ2階長画像を用意する。
    2.IllustratorにてGPUプレビューの状態で1.の画像を配置
    3.配置した画像を埋め込むと表示が反転する。

    期待する結果
    埋込前と埋込後で表示がかわらない。

    実際の結果
    埋め込んだビットマップの表示が反転される。

    現状の回避方法
    埋込んだビットマップ画像が存在するドキュメントではCPUプレビューかオーバープリントプレビューで表示を行う。

    これはGPU表示における不具合です。PDF保存などを行うと正常に保存されますが、GPUプレビューが使えない状態というのは作業性が悪くストレスがたまります。

  7. Illustrator Crashes if any raster image fill color assigned as spot

    I have a illustrator file that contains linked PSDs. I used Grayscale PSD linked images as Spot color. But illustrator 28.5 (macOS M3 Max) crashes when playing with the PSD linked images. I am thinking about it related with rendering.

    I can not work with grayscale linked images as spot color.

    I reported crash handles to Adobe and Apple.

    Is this bug logged before? If anyone need the report file then I can send it.

  8. Objects aligned with edge of artboard render as if overlapping

    When aligning an object against the edge of an artboard, the program will render it as if overlapping the edge by a tiny amount, depending on zoom.

    Extremely disruptive when when working, compounded by the snapping being unreliable (as per separate bug report).

  11. ビットマップ系の効果を適用したオブジェクトをコピーする際に低解像度で処理される

    macOS13.6.3/iMac27inch/intel/AMD Radeon5300 4GB
    Illustrator ver.26.5〜

    再現手順
    1.環境設定で「リアルタイムの描画と編集」をオンにする。
    2.任意のオブジェクトを作成し、「効果→スタイライズ→ぼかし」を適用する。
    3.グループ選択ツールで選択しドラッグを開始。ドラッグ中はリアルタイム描画の低解像度表示となる。
    4.ドラッグ中にoptionキーをプレス。そのまま任意の位置までいどうする。
    5.ドラッグを終了すると当該オブジェクトがコピーされる。通常の移動ではドラッグ終了時に適切な解像度でのレンダリングが行われるが、途中からoptionキーをプレスした場合適切なレンダリング結果とならずリアルタイム描画の状態のままとなる。

    期待する結果
    通常の移動時と同様適切な解像度での結果表示となる。

    実際の結果
    移動中の低解像度の表示のままの結果が得られる。

    回避方法。
    「リアルタイムの描画と編集」を外してリアルタイムの描画をさせないか、ドラッグ開始前にoptionキーを押しておく。

    この挙動は最終的に行われる実際の解像度でのレンダリングが行われない事による不具合かと考えられます。この影響は
    スタイライズに含まれる「ぼかし」「ドロップシャドウ」「光彩」や３Dとマテリアル等のビットマップレンダリングが伴う処理で出ます。今回はoptionショートカット利用のコピーという条件ですが、他にも発生条件が存在するようにも思います。
    何にしろ、低品質でデータが保持されると印刷事故に直結します。早急にご対応頂きたいものです。

  12. White random lines get displayed while working with placed images

    Good day. I've stumbled upon a visual bugs in Adobe for quite a time now. I've really thought that the sole reason was my old MacBook and although It got me angry at some point I knew I did not had the best hardware so I was in no situation of asking a bug fix. Now, I'm using the ARM MacBook with M chip, so you can say I'm having somewhat the latest hardware. Still the visual bug appears super often and I'm becoming frustrated about it.

  13. Flickering Pasteboard with GPU Preview

    This is an ongoing, intermittent issue with Illustrator on Mac. It predates the M-series chips in my memory. The issue is that when the GPU preview is on the pasteboard starts to flicker (see attached). This is not tied to a specific action or effect in my experience, but happens randomly. Suggestions are to turn off GPU preview (not terribly helpful) or turn it off/on which sometimes works, or restart which sometimes works. Can you PLEASE figure out why this happens (has been happening for years!) and fix it.

  14. Flickering colors and images when moving mouse while in GPU mode

    The screen flickers when you move the cursor (it sucks!).

    When you switch to CPU it stops, but you lose the animated zoom which is a nice feature.

    Equipment:
    Mac Studio M2 Max 64GB
    Apple Studio Display
    Sonoma 14.3.1

  19. PLEASE FIX SCREEN FLICKERING!!!!

    The screen flickers when you move the cursor—it's driving me insane!
    Switching from GPU to CPU solves the issue but then I lose animated zoom, which sucks!

  20. Flickering when zooming with animation after update to Illustrator 2024 28.3

    I was trying to fix the insane lag in the previous version, even though I had all the drivers updated(I have MSI RTX 3080 and Ryzen Threadripper 3960X with 64 GB of RAM so it's not a performance issue).

    After updating the lag got worse and when I zoomed in with the GPU enhancing features which is zoom with animation. The canvas was flickering when using the zoom shortcut CTRL+SPACEBAR. I then opened a fresh document and noticed this problem wouldn't occur. So the issue is the fact I had the view grid on on my other document.
