Spacebar not working as quick Pan / Hand tool

We are able to reproduce this issue at our end and the engineering team is currently isolating this issue further to get to the root cause.

PowerPoint wat interfering with my Illustrator. When I quit PPT the space bar hand was available again...

As of 7/21/20, with the new update, the space bar to access the quick hand tool is not working in either Illustrator or InDesign. Haven't tried Photoshop yet.

Quit Google Chrome. All will come back to life.
I don't know why this happens or what the fix is. I am using the latest version of mac OS and adobe.

Hi Adobe team, we are paying for a service that is not fulfilled without this tool. Maybe you should review your pricing until this tool is not fully functional.
