Workspaces not working, all panels hidden on start up.
Just update to CC23.0.1 and when I start up Illustrator all the panels are turned off and my workspace won't change or reset.
I can turn on the panels manually, but it resets when I close Illustrator. The reset, new workspace and manage workspaces options are greyed out. If I try to change the workspace nothing happens.
Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit
Intel i7-7700
16GB Ram
GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Closing the ticket as there were no users reporting issue in the last released builds.

No answers of course - Adobe has no answers for this - workspaces just decide to disappear. No drop down, no way to call it up again. This has been frequent for 20 years
Sure reset, the application on install and erase all my settings.
That's the ******* answer adobe has. That's it...They are not going to fix it

Just experienced this today - imagine it's gonna be a case of trashing my preferences and rebuilding but why can't there be an option to automatically backup these critical files so often corrupted?!

Illustrator keeps app data from previous update versions stored separately on your machine. I was able to delete the current workspace file and replace it with the same file from the previous illustrator version.
I found the workspace files here: (windows machine)
Current (illustrator 24):
C:/User/(my user acct)/AppData Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 24 Settings/en_US/x64/WorkspacesPrevious (illustrator 23):
C:/User/(my user acct)/AppData Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 23 Settings/en_US/x64/WorkspacesRestarted illustrator and worked perfectly.

I have the same problem. Workspace is gone, no workspace presets work. Reset, New workspace greyed out.
EDIT: I went into the AppData folder and deleted all of the Workspace presets. It's working again.

Is there any resolution to this? I'm having the same issue and it's making Illustrator unusable.

Was there an answer to this issue? I am currently experiencing the same issue, so it could not have been the user's machine alone.
