cmd+shift+n doesn't create new folder in Finder-Save-Dialouge anymore after last update
When you save a file (save as, save, save copy, ...) you can not create a new folder via cmd+shift+n anymore after the latest 24.0.1 "bug fix update" which I received today.
Please fix this again!
(Mac OS 10.13.6 / Illustrator 24.0.1
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

I'm moving back to Corel Draw. This is ridiculous.

Please FIX THIS. This should be easy, as it worked before, and it turned the “save as” process REALLY annoying.

How can you keep updating the software but not fixing this issue!

I also have this issue, plus Command+R to reveal the current folder from the Save as... dialogue. Illustrator seems to be intercepting these shortcuts as the menus flash as if I am hiding and revealing rulers or inserting En spaces.

Since the new update for Illustrator, I am unable to use the shortcut to make a new folder when I'm saving a file. I have to physically click on the "new folder" button instead of being able to use "command-shift-N." I know it's a simple thing but it slows down progress. Whenever we get updates, some feature that has ALWAYS worked doesn't anymore. The cloud based software is terrible. I have had more bugs and issues ever since we have been FORCED to get on the Creative Cloud. It seems Adobe is too quick to throw out new/updated software without working out the bugs first.

HUGE productivity delay. It's very annoying to break my workflow to click on a button for a new folder. I keep having to remind myself to do it since it's so embedded into my workflow...I don't think about it

Within the Save As window the command for making a new folder (Command + Shift + N) still soes not work. I reported this and some other issues about a month ago and got 27 votes. The Copy and Paste functions have been restored but this is still a problem.

I was about to mention this one. Yes, this is a very simple problem and should be easy to fix!

Same error here too, any solutions yet?

This is huge. I would say I create a folder at least 50% of the time from the Save dialog box. Not being able to do this is enough a reason for me to roll back to previous versions.

Yes! Same issue here. It is breaking a lot of my Macros I rely on.

Yeah, it's kinda ridicoulus for such an expensive software.
Are the devs don't do alpha/beta/whatever testing before suppling an update to your paying customers? Our pre-press has to create new folders for new jobs like 100 times a day and this is REALLY FRUSTRATING.

Can't create a new folder Cmd+Shift+N while in Save dialog box. Have to press New Folder button with mouse. Little thing, but irritating. Was never an issue before. Also Go to folder shortcut no longer works while saving.
