Realtime Preview makes guides and objects without fill and stroke disappear when moving
In Illustrator 24.1 the real time editing feature makes guides or other objects that have no fill or stroke or an object with a white fill and no stroke disappear when moved.

commentedI have the same problem sometimes. Very annoying
-
Ton commented @janith-lekamwasam You can also create a layer for the guides and set this layer only to outline, so you don't have to switch.

commentedI'm having the same issue. Pretty annoying. I don't agree with Lain. I can't switch to Outline mode every time I want to move a guide.

commentedSame here... seems as if with every bug they fix, 3 new bugs will appear... Workaround (kind of): switch to wireframe mode for dragging guides. This bug ist really embarrassing.

Yes, I agree. Guides should be visible when dragged in all modes all the time.

 commented24.2にバージョンアップしてから、作成したガイドラインを選択ツールで動かす時に、リアルタイムで表示されなくなった。
 非常に困るので早急にバグフィックスを希望します。

commentedIf guides are disappearing when dragged, change from in views, first option in list, change "View using GPU" to "View using CPU"

commentedNew update issues with the path guide from the ruler. Paths disappear or are not able to be pulled from the ruler.
-
      Confirm. These should be visible.

@Steve — could you calmly explain what's you think is broken for Pixel grid? Just a short list. I'm just curious and want to compare mine with yours.
-
Well, I think that real-time drawing feature (which is great and at least 15 years late) just lack one more little option: 'Keep edges while dragging'.

commentedAdobe are clueless - whoever is in charge needs to STOP listening to morons who want to add more an more features and start fixing the issues that are broken under the hood. Pixel grid is STILL a joke and the latest build - the Direct Selection tool - Illustrators most formidable tool - is unusable... Sort it out - you muppets...!

Anonymous commented When Real-Time Drawing and Editing feature is turned ON - Objects wit no fill and no stroke become completely invisible when dragging with the Selection tool.

commentedThhis is NO idea. It's a BUG! Illustrator CC 24.1.2 Guide line will disappear with "drawing in real time" option in preferences activated while one will drag it. Deactivating this great , new "feature" will make it work again. So the new SUPER DUPER feature is just as buggy as the whole software, still.

commentedHi there, When an object is selected the object edges show. Once the object is then dragged and moved the edges disappear meaning it's hard to line up objects. An help with this would be much appreciated. Version: 24.1.2

commentedI came here to post exactly about this. Objects without fill and stroke are invisible during moves.
As for white objects without strokes, they're not really invisible, but since they're a fully white object against a fully white page you can't see them while moving... but you'll see them if they go over a coloured area such as the slug. The attached video shows both issues happening. The solution for this is simple, while dragging an object the edges should always be visible. Thanks!

commentedWhen drawing a guide line > why do I not see the realtime position mm somewhere in the interface? (Adobe Illustrator 2020 feature request). Especially with a programma that is often about 100% exact sizing, this feature should definitely be in there. InDesign has this already for ages, it saves extra actions from the user, so it saves time and annoyance. Thanks!

commentedI just recently moved to 2018 and was horrified to learn that the Anchors had been removed to clean things up! Now one update brought them back on an object when you touch it, but they disappear when you move the object. I used this all the time to help with alignments that involved center points of one object and different points of others. Please add this to the preferences tab as you did with the viewing of those anchors on static objects. This loss is going to cost me so much time having to align to guides...not to mention I don't want a million guides everywhere.
