Illustrator gets minimized when toolbars get touched at Mac Sonoma 14.1, with application frame disabled
By updating to MacOS 14.1, In Illustrator 2024 28.00, as soon as you touch the toolbars, they disappear. Keeping the "Application Pane" active does not give the error. Can it be solved. A thousand thanks!
Apple has seemingly fixed the problem with their MacOS version. Please update to check if this get it resolved for you.
Comment back if it still happens for you with MacOS 14.1.1 update installed.

Update to Mac OS 14.1.1 has indeed fixed the issue. I still have the issue of windows opening behind toolbar however, this has been around for some time.

Seems the macOS 14.1.1 update has fixed the problem — I can use Illustrator panels without the oppressive Application Frame.

I'm not sure... Maybe if two or eleven more people would write, that it has been fixed, it would be more convincing I guess. ;)

macOS Sonoma 14.2 (Beta) was released before 14.1.1.
14.2 (Beta) contains no fixes. -

macOS Sonoma 14.2 is *Beta* dated 27.10.2023, not every problem must have been fixed there.

Under Sonoma 14.0 (i didn't update 14.1 yet) seems 14.1 will not resolve it. -
Vincent, which OS version are you using currently? Is it Sonoma?
If yes — does your issue look like this one — https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/47400233-illustrator-gets-minimized-when-toolbars-get-touch ? -
