Image Trace over a white square on color mode with 2 colors crashes Illustrator
This is a bug that happens on all versions of Illustrator, even CC 2019, and regardless of OS.
It's very specific, but here are the steps:
Create a new document. Color Mode doesn't matter.
Draw a square with only a white fill.
Rasterize it. Resolution and color mode doesn't matter.
Run Image Trace on it
In the Image Trace settings, set the Mode to Color and the number of colors set to 2.
Illustrator will crash.
Try it out! The expected result is probably just the same as if the number of colors was set to 3 or anything else…2 votes -
Sellection tool won't let me resize shapes
I installed the new version of illustrator and since that I can´t resize shapes, text boxes, basically everything...
I've alredy tried to uninstall and reinstall and I can´t still resize shapes

Selector tool glitch — element selected and deselected at once
Sometimes, elements will incorrectly be deselected, getting them into a strange state where they are seen as unselected in the layers panel, but being displayed as selected on the canevas. Most operations will not affect it (move and scale), but some, including align, will produce strange, incoherent results. It either stops at random or does not, needing a restart of Illustrator to be able to resume editing.

Scale Strokes only seems possible, but is greyed out.
Scale dialog: Make it possible to scale Strokes only (Deactivate Transform Objects - which should be possible, but is always greyed out)

Keyboard doesn't register shortcuts
My Illustrator CC 2018 (last update) has a bug with the keyboard. It happens after couple of hours working on a project then the keyboard doesn't register any shortcut from the panel. The only way to fix this is to restart my Mac. Is there solution for this bug?

Illustrator CC 2018 crashes, when process runs in Batch.
I have a programmed a project that involves opening document, doing some changes, saving and closing the document. And again this process repeats on around 500 documents. Illustrator crashes.

scale in pointer
the scale tool that we use to transform an object does not work. I have to uninstall the program to see it again and sometimes that does not repair it

Expanded shapes get an additional redundant anchor point
Example:
1. Draw a square with a stroke set to the inside or outside (doesn't matter which as long as the stroke isn't centred)
2. Expand the square and instead of the 8 anchor points you would expect the compound shape to have, the expanded square has 10 anchor points.
The top right corners have 2 anchor points each, created directly on top of each other.This happens with ANY shape with corners and a stroke that isn't centred.
You can't see the extra anchor point directly because it is in exactly the same location as the correct anchor point.

Illustrator 22.1 crashes on quit
Every time I close illustrator the application stops responding and I have to close through the task manager. I've already tried to delete preferences and install the application again. The problem occurred after upgrading Windows 10 to April update 2018.
My configuration
Windows 10 1803 (build 17134.1)
Illustrator 22.1

Type Object Selection by Path Only not working correctly
When a Type Object is rotated, Ai selects it when the pointer is clicked in side the bounding box of the rotated object, even when Selection by Path Only is active.

Eyedropper tool doing whatever it wants
For example. when using alt click (as for copying the style of what I have selected to another thing. It DELETES ALL STYLE from the thing I'm clicking on. When I click normally it just copies color (sometimes) and even though I have everything checked in the eyedropper tool setting. It just copies just color.
This is making me wast a lot of time
I already updated the software AND also did a fresh reinstall, even deleting settings. Didn't work.2 votes -
Problem syncing with CC Files on startup (sometimes!!)
Well the title says it all, really!
It looks like I have NO files in the cloud. But not all the time. Restarting Illustrator sometimes solves the problem.
I reïnstalled the program, have the latest updates, etc...
Maybe I overlook something?

Align to artboard not working for svgs added through File/Place
I added an svg to use (with File/Place) and wanted it to be centered. After clicking to align to artboard and clicking the Horizintal Align Center button it never actually centers. It moves a bit each click until it stops working all together (almost parabolic as seen in the attached gif).
Everything worked fine on objects created from within that file

file does not keep imported and applied paragraph styles after saving the file
- Illustrator 16.0.4 (CS6) Mac OS 10.11.6
- After applying imported paragraph styles, I can save the file, but when reopening the style effects have gone. Tried to erase the preferences etc. but it reappears not immediately, but after two or three steps for sure... What can I do?

Rasterizing artwork Overprints being discarded
When you rasterize art that has overprints the overprints are being discarded.

Illustrator has crashed twice in the past hour (and multiple times today)
I was editing lines in this document and it keeps crashing. Not sure why... Any help would be appreciated! I was moving lines from one layer into another when it crashed just now. Thanks!

Several Illustrator 22.0.1 Issues with High Sierra Update
The issues keep surfacing after the OS High Sierra update making my job increasingly difficult and frustrating. Issues ranging from bounding boxes not working to the inability to modify/click on text. Also, I find that I sometimes after some design and then saving the project, the layout switches back on all the changes that I made, after saving is complete. I'll close the file, reopen, and the changes appear as they should have. Crashing is also an issue, seems "minor" compared to these other problems. Image File open but not showing up
When using the latest version of Illustrator cc I open vector images the image file opens however it is not visible, I do get visibility briefly when the file is shut down or resized from maximised within the program. It is only a fleeting view and disappears again when reopened or maximised?

There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object

Align Stroke isn't allowing me to place stroke on outside or inside of line on certain items.. Both options are greyed out.
Since latest update, Align Stroke isn't allowing me to place stroke on outside or inside of the line on certain items. I'm noticing this on both text and vector objects with "holes".
