que la ventana de texto incorpore el poder pintar una palabra seleccionada sin tener que ir al panel de muestras ya que al hacerlo se debe volver a seleccionar la palabra, asi seria mas rapido para la contrucion de logos o titulos poder desde la misma ventana de texto, pintar la palabra, cambiarle la tipografía, etc.

Importing a PDF file saved from CAD shows a fault message
When opening a flowchart in Illustrator, a PDF file saved from a CAD, I get a fault message saying 'There are fonts in the document that are not installed on the computer'.
This is a new fault that came up last week, been using PDF files for a year and it have never been a problem until now.
Is there something i can do about it?

Remplacement de police sans avertissement
Bonjour, aujourd'hui j'ai réouvert un fichier .ai et sans avertissement une des polices, pourtant déjà installée (et pas d'Adobe fonts) a été tout simplement remplacée par de la Myriad pro.
Sans alerte, sans notification. Le seul indice à part l'apparence visuelle absolument différente, a été que j'ai documenté en écrivant en toutes lettres le nom de la police utilisée dans ma créa.
Ca ne donne vraiment pas confiance.

Adobe Fonts が Illustrator で認識されず、作業が継続不能になる重大不具合
Adobe Fonts に存在し、Creative Cloud でアクティベート済みのフォントが、
Illustrator 内で表示されず使用できません。具体的には「VDLロゴJr（通常・ブラック）」が、
・Adobe Fonts ではアクティブ
・Figma では使用可能
にもかかわらず、Illustrator のフォント一覧に一切表示されません。以下の対処をすべて実施しましたが改善しませんでした：
- Adobe Fonts の再アクティベート
- Illustrator のフォントキャッシュ削除（AdobeFnt*.lst）
- Windows の FontCache.dat 削除
- Illustrator の環境設定リセット
- ローカルフォントの衝突確認
- Figma Font Helper の停止それでも Illustrator だけがフォントを認識しません。
仕事で使用しており、毎月料金を支払っているにも関わらず、
基本的な「フォントが使える」という機能が保証されていない状態です。至急、原因の特定と修正をお願いします。

Overset text indicators do not show when Type on Path has overflow
Text Overflow / Overset (+) Indicators are not showing on newer illustrator versions on Text Paths (Point Text).
The text paths have stopped showing the indicator when clicking off of the Text on a path (point type) has text overflow.As a map design company this is a big issue for us, as our files have thousands of text paths. We used to be able to identify crucial overset text information using these markers however they have vanished for the most past. Some files do occasionally show them but most do not. Illustrator changes text after modifying a text box with White Arrow tool. Its been happening for a few weeks. I work in a professional big corporate company and its changing my layouts after I am doing changes and it is really problematic.
This needs fixing right away. In packaging if some text is changed after I make layout changes it can have serious legal ramifications.

Illustrator slow and laggy with text
When I'm trying to edit a text box, illustrator turns very slow and laggy. With a simple text box. When I try to change font size, or writting, it takes ages to assume it. And the document turns very slow.
Please help with this issue

Text object becomes corrupted and cannot apply gradient or appearance
Illustrator on Windows 11 sometimes turns normal point text into a broken area text object.
When this happens:
- “Convert to Point Type” does not appear
- The text behaves like a text box even though it was created as point text
- The Appearance panel cannot add a new fill (button is greyed out)
- Applying a gradient turns the text completely black
- Copy/paste keeps the corrupted state unless pasted as plain textThis issue forces me to recreate text manually and interrupts my workflow.

文字パネル側の「フォント名を英語で表記」設定が正常動作していない

Illustrator 30.1文字パネルにある「フォント名を英語で表記」にチェックを入れても、すべてが英語名で表記されず、日本語のまま残る部分があります。
この状態で環境設定を確認すると、同名の設定では設定がONになっています。環境設定で設定をONにした場合は正常に英語表記されます。
（ただし文字パネルでONにした状態で、環境設定を開き、そのままOFF・ONにした場合だと変わらず）

Illustrator 30.1Even when checking “Display font names in English” in the Character panel, not all names are displayed in English; some remain in Japanese.
Checking the preferences in this state shows the setting is ON for the corresponding option.If you turn the setting ON in the Preferences, it displays correctly in English.

Type appears bolder after converting to outlines
When converting live type to outlines, the outlined text appears noticeably bolder. If you zoom in closely, the weight looks correct again.
This becomes a real problem when testing precise font weights for logos or identity work. Once type is outlined for customization, the apparent weight changes is making it difficult to accurately judge the final result. I often zoom out to evaluate designs at small sizes, but with outlined type, the visual weight no longer reflects how it should actually appear.
This behavior also shows up in exports:

Tabs window not available in 30.1

Creating new area text (paragraph text) which requires tab structure, first thing, the shift+command shortcut no longer works. So I can't indicate in a screen grab what doesn't show up. It is also greyed-out within the Top Window Menu>Type>Tabs2 votes -
Uniwidth/multiplexed fonts extends in Illustrator
A font of mine is uniwidth/duplexed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniwidth_typeface) and keeps its width in InDesign and ABC Dinamo’s Font Gauntlet when changing the weight of the VAR.ttf.
In Illustrator however, the text ‘extends’ when adding weight. Visualized: The last letter on a line is standing further right than before. The other way around it also contracts when lowering the weight, obviously.
I went on and found the same behavior in other VAR fonts (right in InDesign, wrong in Illustrator), but also ones that don’t have the issue. My Illustrator version is up to date, and the bug was also in…

"Legacy text" warning when opening a file with Illustrator 2026, created in Illustrator 2026

- Illustrator 30.1
- Created large posters in Illustrator 30.1 including Japanese type. Was later asked to make A4 size versions of them. Reduced entire contents of individual A1 posters so they would fit on A4 pages, copied, pasted to a new multi-artboard file. Saved and closed. Opened the file next day, again using Illustrator 30.1, and was greeted with "This file contains text created in an older version of Illustrator. Text size and kerning keyboard shortcuts still do not work.
Mac Studio - macOS Sequoia 15.6.1
Adobe Illustrator 2026 ver. 30Point/Font size and kerning keyboard shortcuts still don't work. I attempt the key commands and nothing happens, even though the shortcuts are still in the defaults (see attached). Help?!
2 votesIt seems like the Size/Leading, Tracking, Baseline Shift values in Preferences > Type got changed... If it is the issue — please upvote it still and leave a comment. It’s not clear yet why it happens.

After updating my system to Sequoia 15.7.2, the text tools stopped working.
After updating my system to Sequoia 15.7.2, the text tools stopped working.
Any action I perform on the text, such as changing the size or font, produces no result. The app slows down significantly. My work has completely stopped because of this.
I have the latest version, 30.0, installed.
I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator, but that didn't help.
I also tried installing an older version, but the result was the same. Is Illustrator incompatible with the new Sequoia 15.7.2?Any ideas?

Problem with Eyedropper tool on text
Illustrator 30.0 on Mac Ventura 13.7.8
When I try to use the Eyedropper tool on a text, it only samples the object's top Appearance, not the text's at Character level.
In the sample video, the characters should become grey, with the text object having a white outline behind. But you can see it only picks up the white outline and not the character colour.
My Eyedropper tool is set to pick up everything (all boxes are ticked).
