Illustrator auto-close when opening an .ai file
It closes automatically when I open an .AI file, whether I double-click the file or open it from the illustrator menu.
I already reinstalled illustrator and the problem continues.

"What's new" reminder will not stop appearing every time I start Illustrator.
the 'see what's new' reminder in the upper right will not stop appearing every time I start Illustrator. Deleting preferences doesn't help. Clicking remind later is getting to be annoying.

Intel HD Graphics 4600 unsupported video driver
We've updated to the latest available driver from Intel for this integrated graphics card on our laptop.

However, Illustrator still warns of incompatibilities every time we launch it. We've set our discrete NVIDIA graphics card as the preferred GPU, and it's listed in the Edit > Preferences > Performance > GPU Details. However, Illustrator still appears to be trying to verify the Intel drivers. There's not an option to disable the onboard graphics chip in our BIOS (MSI laptop). We tried disabling the onboard graphics in Windows Device Manager, but that didn't appear to make any difference. We saw…

Unknown Error [PARM]
I was starting work and clicked on Adobe Illustrator for the first time today, it immediately gave me this error and I hadn't even opened a document as yet.
This is the first time this error has appeared for me and I do not know why.
I closed the program and restarted it, the error didn't reoccur.
I have a pretty new powerful PC (within a year old).
I have attached my PC specs for reference and all programs are up to date.

When I open Illustrator files the screen is filled with black and grey lines.
I have been working on a project on illustrator and after a few days of working on it I open the file to see this screen filled with gray and black lines. None of the options on the top are visible and all the tools and properties windows are missing.
Windows 10 Pro - Illustrator 24.1.2
I tried opening the file from the illustrator menu, from file explorer and tried creating a new .ai file as well.

Slow opening of the first document!!!
I don't know if it happens to others, an Illustrator on a Windows machine "I would say performing, quite a lot" but this problem happens to me I think at least from the CC2018 / 2019/2020 version.
I start the software, open a new empty document, or open an existing document (even of small, insignificant dimensions) the document takes a long time to open (it is not immediate).
If I open a second document it opens in the right time, then it works as it should.
The same thing happens if I close Illustrator and restart it.But before it…

Illustrator crashes when opening any file after Microsoft Cumulative update 2019-09 KB4517211
Running Win10 Pro x64. Uninstalled and ReInstalled Cumulative update KB4517211. Problem goes away if uninstalled, and recurrs after re-installing Microsoft update. Have latest NVidia GPU drivers installed (problem occurred with prior version graphics drivers as well) and latest version of AI (23.1). Problem occurred prior to update to 23.1 today. Problem started after Microsoft Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1903 x64 and problem is resolved when uninstalling Cumulative update. Used Microsoft tool to HIDE updates to stop KB4517211 from re-installing.

crash after windows update
Every time since I installed the latest windows update (KB5407453, KB4509096) that I try to open or create a new file adobe illustrator crashes. The crash report is attached.
3 votesFrom the looks of it it seems to be crashing with GPU. Here is what I can suggest
1. TEST: Disable GPU from preference panel and then create a anew document to see if it still crashes
2. FIX: Update GPU driver – each manufacturer will have a different way to get and install drivers. some help here: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/illustrator-gpu-performance-driver-update.html3. Illustrator 23.0.3 keeps crashing all the times i opened it

Illustrator CC 23.0.2 does not open files and cannot start new file. Toolbars and Menus are inaccessable.
All I can see after opening or trying to open files is a window that is hiding parts of illustrator file - I can see part of this on the right side and on bottom. No menus or tools are available to use, and the progress wheel just keeps spinning. Very frustrating. I am using my Illustrator CC 23.0.2 on IMac OS 10.14.3. I have updated Illus CC, restarted the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted computer, etc. I have had to resort to using Illus CS6 in order to work. Illustrator hangs when opening a file or creating a new one
Windows 7 Professional with all the latest updates.
I tried the following Illustrator Versions:
V 23.0 and V 22.1
Illustrator opens as usual and I see the overview screen. When I select a file or try to create a new one it just loads forever. Nothing happens. Also in task manager there is nothing going on. No high cpu or memory usage.
I worked for years with Illustrator on this machine. Version 22.1 always worked. The issue appeared after updating to the latest version. I also uninstalled the latest version but the issue still remains. Any idea of how to…

High Sierra disables Illustrator
Since updating to High Sierra last week every time I go to open Illustrator the spinning wheel appears and is never resolved. I chatted with support last week and was told I needed to contact Apple as it's a compatibility issue. They were also not able to help.

Error loading plugins. TorqExtension.aip
I get two errors when I first open up Illustrator. This is the second one I receive. It appears every time I open Illustrator CC 2018. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Illustrator from Creative Cloud, but it still appears on startup. I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit machine as well.

"CANT" ERROR
Have updated to newest version of Illustrator and now get this warning on launch. Program does open but with no preset preferences available.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but there is no improvement.

Illustrator will not start. Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly during the previous launch....Run Diagnostics or Launch Ilustrator
Illustrator was working fine for the last year on this computer and yesterday decided it did not want to start anymore. All other adobe products open just fine, except illustrator. I've been searching for the last hour for answers and nothing. What gives adobe.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, adobe cc cleaner, deleted prefs, and still keeps crashing.
Here's what happens:
1. Click on launch Illustor from Creative Cloud app. The Creative cloud app blinks for a second as if its trying to open illustrator but nothing.
2. Click on Launch again. 既存のファイルを開くと、画像やテキストがクリッピングマスクされた状態になっており、パスレイヤーは元々の位置にあるが、画像やテキスト自体は横にズレた位置に移動し、表面上何も見えない状態になっている。

Illustrator 29.6.1: Script error on startup
I get a message of a script error on startup; either InDesign or Photoshop. If I remove the 'offending' script, it moves on to find an error in another file.
