  1. Error in Startup Script - Line 2798: { No matching closing brace found

    I am getting an error on launch of Illustrator, seems to have begun with the latest update.

    No matching closing brace found

    The error can be dismissed and the application runs fine after that.

    Note that this is an error reffering to a startup script named "Adobe Photoshop", but the error comes up when launching Illustrator. Interestingly, there is no error when launching Photoshop.

  2. ファイルを開くと、テキストや画像がボックスと分離し、位置が変わっている。

    既存のファイルを開くと、画像やテキストがクリッピングマスクされた状態になっており、パスレイヤーは元々の位置にあるが、画像やテキスト自体は横にズレた位置に移動し、表面上何も見えない状態になっている。

  3. Einfrieren nach einigen Minuten

    Illustrator 29.6.1, Windows 11:
    Illustrator friert jedes Mal einige Minuten nach dem Starten für ca. 5 Minuten ein. Der Fehler tritt unabhängig davon auf, was man gerade tut, der Fehler tritt auch auf, wenn kein Dokument geöffnet ist und nur das Startfenster angezeigt wird. Nach den 5 Minuten läuft er dann ganz normal weiter.

  4. 29.5 hanging on startup

    29.5 is hanging on startup for me, won't get past loading in plug ins, then it just sits there... system is OS 15.4, Mac Studio M1 Max 64/512. SwatchLibs.aip seems to be the issue, won't load anything past that. Wacom Tablet is installed, latest driver in place as well.

  5. This issue affects every .ai file on macOS when attempting to open them via double-click from Finder. A system dialog appears stating:

    “<filename>.ai” could not be found.

    This problem has been consistently occurring since the introduction of Illustrator CC, and continues to affect all subsequent versions.

    This is a severe UX and workflow-breaking bug. It makes it impossible to use the most natural way of opening files on macOS. Users are forced to adapt inconvenient workarounds.

  6. Illustrator 29.6.1: Script error on startup

    I get a message of a script error on startup; either InDesign or Photoshop. If I remove the 'offending' script, it moves on to find an error in another file.

  7. Launching Ai without the application frame places the document window behind the tool panel

    When I startup Illustrator without the application frame it often misplaces my document so it's tucked behind the tools panel — sometime it is where it is supposed to be.

  8. Bitmap (1-Bit) Image downsampled to 300 dpi in PDF Export - スリープさせるとレインボーカーソル化

    MacBookPro OS 13.6.4
    Illustrator 29.3.1

    Illustratorを起動したまま、画面を（物理的に）閉じると、次画面を開いた時にIllustratorがレインボーカーソルのまま動かなくなります。毎回強制終了して再度起動しています。
    ブラウザなどの他のアプリケーションはレインボーカーソル化しません。

    Illustratorを28にしていた頃は起こらなかったです。

  9. new file - sheet sizes and templates don't load

    when I open new document, I used to be able to select a sheet size from an existing set. it was a history of recency used templates and other suggestions. now there is nothing that shows up, and in order to make new document I've been needing to open an old document, erase everything and save it down as a new document.

  16. Illustrator desktop version 27.8 Error message [UKCO] after update on 8-3-2023

    I get the following error message upon starting up Illustrator desktop.
    "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [UKCO]"
    The app opens and I can create a new doc but the message keeps popping up.
    For now I'm reverting back to a previous version.

  18. All Adobe apps hang on launch

    Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign are not opening.. its hanging when i start software. pls fix it. It suddenly happened.
    I am not able to work my files since past 3 days.. I tried uninstall & install, but still same. Pls fix asap.

  20. dxcore.dll not found

    Illustrator won't open due to "dxcore.dll not found".
    I have been on forums and many people have posted about this.
    Seems to be an issue with the latest update as the posts are quite recent.
    Temporarily fixed by reinstall of Illustrator. As yet, have found no permanent solution.
