2019 Mac Pro with AMD Pro VEGA II Duo Graphics
I attached my AISniffer and computer configuration files from MacOS. This has been something I've brought up a couple times to Adobe and they know it's a problem but it seems like the resolution of this has been slow going.
These newer Mac Pro graphics cards don't seem to be supported with the newest version of Adobe Illustrator.
It's a problem because Adobe Illustrator runs extremely slow when it says that there isn't a compatible GPU. Can anything be done to add these graphics cards to the "approved" list?

Freeform gradient locking spot color
If you use a spot color in a freeform gradient the swatch becomes locked, so you can't change the name or merge/delete the swatch.
Additionally, If you use global color swatches in the freeform gradient and copy to a new document, the global color doesn't get added to the swatches palette - you have to save and reopen the file for the swatch to appear.

Objects not snapping to point in Illustrator
My objects or text boxes are not snapping to point (it is turned one), what do I do?

Cannot deactivate "Embed ICC profile" in Asset Export
When using the Asset Export panel, if you go into a JPG preset and uncheck "Embed ICC Profile" and then click "Save Settings", the setting will not save. It will always embed the profile. If you reopen that preset, the option is always checked. Any exported file does have the ICC profile embedded.

Illustrator crashes when opening AI file contains paths exported from Photoshop
Creating paths from selection area in Photoshop, exporting paths to AI, and then AI crashes when opening the .ai file with paths. Machine runs Windows 10 with all Adobe Suites updating to latest version.

Save dialog Format pop-up not accessible
Since the addition of the 'Save Adobe Cloud Document', once in a while the Format pop-up menu is not responsive - can not choose a format.
Other buttons work, but Save Adobe Cloud Document and Format: are dead.1 vote -

Script Running Actions Skips Alignment
Version 24.2.1
When using a script to initiate an action, the action is skipping the alignment to artboard steps.
This worked perfect in earlier versions

Unable to use 'Place...' command in Adobe Illustrator v24.2.1

Adobe Illustrator v24.2.1- Select 'Place...' from File menu
- Wait for browse window to load
- Nothing happens
- Unable to place a file on the artboard

illustrator unexpectedly quits and does not reopen the project i was working on.
illustrator constantly crashes and then when i try to reopen it my unsaved project i was working on is now gone if it happens again im more than likely going to smash my ******* computer and send it to you in a box asking for a new one since you can't seem to fix your software

Pathfinder Merge option creates a Trim and NOT a Merge
I am trying to merge two shapes using the Pathfinder > Merge option. Instead of creating a single merged path, the result is the same as a Trim. See attached before and after images
Both paths have the same fill, outline, and transparency properties. Neither path is part of a Group or Compound shape.
I have also shut down and restarted Illustrator and also my computer and still get the same outcome.
I can work around this with manual work, but this tool should be working.

Can't create artboard from rectangle - Illustrator 24.2
That's all. It says that it can't create artoboards from rotated rectangles or masks. It's a freshly created rectangle.
This version of AI seems to be very buggy.

A layer name with Emoji brakes a layer window
When an artwork contains a layer whose name has emoji such as 👍, a layer window is broken. Interfaces (Eye or lock icons, thumbnail or name) of several layers or groups will disappear and lost controlled. Fortunately, I knew which layer name has emoji so that it has been recovered by deleting the emoji.

Password Protection in PDF file disappears after changes and saving a PDF file
When we password protect PDF in Illustrator the Password protection disappears if we make some changes and just save the file without put in the password again. Same if we open an pdf file with password protection, make changes and just save the file the password disappears. We didn't need to put in password eveytime when we saved the file after put in a password on earlier version. Is this something wrong with the new version or shall it be like this? Please put back old function or make a pop up box that ask for password if the file…

Not sure but it's happening

Windows 10 HomeSo I thought it was my corsair scimitar pro was the problem, but outside adobe, my mouse seems to work fine.
the issue is, when I work in illustrator, my mouse acts like I released my left mouse button. So for example, when I'm making a rectangle, it sometimes randomly stops making the rectangle like I release my button. Or when dragging it releases.. anybody having this issue?

Rotate tool
in Illustrator 24.2 the rotate tool often seems to default back to random numbers now instead of to the last used or something that might make sense (eg 90). eg 93.24

SVG files not properly being displayed in Adobe Illustrator
SVG files are not opening properly in Adobe Illustrator. I can open them in browsers or in Inkscape with no issue. When I open them up in Adobe Illustrator, they are rendered and displayed incorrectly.

0.1 degree tilt.
If you draw a square with the Rectangle tool, it is tilted by 0.1 degrees. The same thing happens with the Circle tool.
