CMY touch bar not working properly

File opens with one color value & the values change when placed in a new document
Hi There, I am working in the latest release of AI on a MacBook Pro OS 10.15.4 (Catalina) and I am reporting a bug I've encountered.
To preface, I don't know the age of the original logo file. The artwork is a PMS chip value, saved in an RGB document.

spot color limit
Please stop the limiting of the spot colors. I use multiple spot colors when making color swatches for profiling some of our machines. I do not always want to convert everything into CMYK in Illustrator.
I am not sure why this was changed because I can not understand what value limiting the colors adds?

Inconsistencies in adding gradient swatches in Adobe software and Adobe's instructions for Illustrator gradient swatches are incorrect
Only one of the methods listed on the Adobe Illustrator help page regarding adding gradient swatches actually works..
There is no 'Add to Swatches' button in the Gradient menu (in fact, there is no Gradient menu, only a Gradient panel).
Dragging the Gradient fill box from the Gradient Panel to the Swatches panel does absolutely nothing.
Furthermore, the instructions 'Click the swatches menu in the Swatches panel and choose New Swatch' fails to explain the fact that you need to have your gradient selected and active in the active Fill or Stroke boxes.

Illustrator suddenly changed from RGB to CMYK
Windows 10, Illustrator 2020
Working on a digital comic and suddenly colour has been changed
from RGB to CMYK, which means I cannot copy and paste the colours
I was repeatedly using anymore.Black colour has been automatically replaced by a dark greenish black;
upon further inspection, it can be seen that it is not completely black. It feels odd at plain sight. I have manually selected each line which has changed colour, but it keeps going back to that dark greenish black.

CMYK Hex Code Color Change
Windows 10 Pro 18362.719 / Adobe Illustrator 24.0.1. (64bit)
I downloaded and opened a CMYK/Vector file I received through Google Drive, and a specific color on the file was slightly brighter than the color that is supposed to be.
I tried to replace the specific graphic with the original color by typing the hex code manually, but it also changed to the brighter color.
I heard it has been a common issue that has been around, but is there any way to keep the color?

My colors in Illustrator are still displaying wrong.
There is a discussion about it here, that claims the bug has been fixed, but it has not.
I am up-to-date in my version 24.1. I changed my Thunderbolt display colors back to factory settings in hopes of that being the issue, but it did nothing.
Please fix this bug. I am in the middle of making a postcard and it looks awful. Thank you.

Symbol color management is different from color settings
Symbol color management is different from color settings
Example: Default CMYK Color profile is ISO coated v2 ECI
RGB profile: sRGB
When in CMYK file make a fill square in some color (for ex. 0-0-0-100) and create from this symbol, the color in symbol (symbol editing mode) stay 0-0-0-100, but symbol instance in file show the different color: 75-66-64-76.2 votes -
Color Shifting
In Illustrator CS5.5 I was able to adjust color swatches by increments (IE: Cyan: 0 to Cyan: .025). Now, the color picker will round the color to the nearest whole number or push the color to a different number. I've tried using the recoloring feature and I get the same situation. It will work sometimes, but will more often not work and just round the color up or down and not retain the value I have entered to CMYK. I always check if my file is set to CMYK because I am in the printing industry. Now, I can't hit…

After updateing to Adobe Illustrator 2020 the program chrashes after some hours running.
I am working on a PC with the Adobe illustartor 2020 (24.0.1)
The program keeps chrashing now and then. I have not yet seen a a pattern but the last time it happened I was changing colour of an outlined pattern.2 votes -

Recolor artwork doesn't work
To recolour an image from 16 to 5 colors (or other amount) doesn't work. It only makes the image appear lighter but it is still 16 colours.

Spot color names are incorrect in other applications
I'm using Illustrator 2020 (24.0.1) on macOS Mojave (10.14.6) in Japanese.
Opened an Illustrator 2020 file containing spot colors with Japanese names in Acrobat or place it to InDesign, the names are not as expected.
I can use English names for the new ones, but changing InDesign ink settings in all existing files can be difficult.

Illustrator Gradient looses blending when copied and pasted.
Trying to copy and paste a design with a gradient on it, And the gradient apears chunkier and sharper when copied into a new canvas. If i copy on the original canvas its fine, but not on a new one. Ive checked the grain values and opacity and they are all the same. Wondering if any one has a sultion to fix this bug?

Can't find the basic pantone colors
I can't find certain Pantone colors in the swatch library anymore. For example Pantone 871 C (standard gold color) i can find in the 2019 by just typing it in the search bar, but in the 2020 version it doesn't recognise it... even if i import another swatch library it doesn't show it at all, but i'm certain it's in there.

Recolor Artwork stops working if more than one document is open
If I have two documents open, I am unable to use Recolor Artwork under Color Guide. It just stops working. Nothing happens when I pull the sliders, click to randomly change the color order or click on color groups. It's broken.
Everything turns back to normal when I close the other document.

Stroke/Fill Selection From Library
- Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17763 Build 17763
- I change the stroke color in appearance menu from library (created in Adobe Colours), which at first works, if I the for the same element or a different element in my graphic try to change the fill from the library, it will still change the stroke. Happens vise versa as well with fill first. Sometimes it resets if I do some other operation in between and I can suddenly change the other colour fill/stroke, but its irratic. But always depends on first action.

Eye dropper not applying proper color/hex from Adobe Color Themes panel
I'm using the latest Illustrator v23.03. When selecting colors from the Adobe Color Themes panel, it does not copy the correct color hex to the selected item in my document. In the attached file, which I've scaled up for easier viewing, the square tiles represent the proper color within the Adobe Color Themes panel, with each overlaying the incorrect color Illustrator is copying over when selected. saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator
Illustrator 23.0.2 (64bit) and Windows 10 Versions 1809 OS Build 17763.379
This has happened numerous times over the past few months.
I try to create a new custom Adobe Color Theme in Illustrator. I am not able to do so and am given the error message:
"saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator"
I have tried restarting the program and signing out and signing back into my Adobe Creative Cloud but the problem remains.
