Under MacOS Sonoma 14.7.2. Illustrator 29.5.1 Cannot change color of a single word on a text box.
Under MacOS Sonoma 14.7.2. Illustrator 29.5.1 Cannot change color of a single word on a text box. It adds a very very slim outline without a add an actual stroke. The word is suppossed to be Brown.

Campo de texto não exibindo sublinhando correção
Em alguns campos de texto, não exibe a correção para textos, esse problema acontece em alguns campos, quando cria um novo, ele volta a sublinhar o texto com erros ortográficos, isso atrapalha no processo de correção, você não consegue confiar na ferramenta de correção!

Do not scale text when you have a text style applied
When I have selected multiple blocks of text or lines of text, I would like the option to scale the bounds as if I were selecting only one field, without scaling the font size — especially when a font style is applied. Alternatively, it would be helpful to have an option within the font styles to lock scaling. I often work on menus and need to lock scaling when moving or resizing groups of items. I wouldn’t mind needing to manually update the font style if I choose to scale text after locking document scaling.

Text tool inserting wrong style
If I have text typed out, then I try to change one letter it changes my font. For example I have the would "hot" typed in acumin regular, then I go to change the word to "got" and it might make the "g" bold or condensed or just an different style that is on the document. I am not using paragraph styles or character styles.

Creative Cloud Fonts wont sync.
The fonts already installed via Creative Cloud show missing in Illustrator. It also keep removing the font from the font family stating font was unable to be installed due to an error. So every time I open Illustrator or simply start my system there a new font missing. CC sprouts an error regarding a font. Never had this issue before.

Type tools not showing in 29.3.1
The type tools not showing in 29.3.1, I get the 3d and Materials (insanely long) window instead.
The Paragraph panel does the same, as well as Glyphs.
I want to access the glyphs, Open Type, etc, panels but just can't.1 vote -
Text converting to outlines when exporting and/or saving as SVG in Illustrator 2025
Text is getting converted to outlines when exporting and/or saving as SVG in Illustrator 2025, even though I am NOT selecting that option. This is bad for SEO and accessibility and needs to be fixed asap.

Bug - Variable Concept fonts do not show on screen or in output
Mac OS 15.3.2
Illustrator 28.4.5
Plugins: Esko DeskPack Essentials 24.07; extensis Connect Fonts 27.0.0Variable Concept fonts do not show. The text box is visible when I change to View Outlines. I can select the text lines and see the colour and font information; the text does not appear on screen or in output. Our only solution is to quit Illustrator and restart. This seems to fix the view issues, but we now have to quit/restart multiple times per day.

Font switches to default and back while navigating string with arrows
It's a bit hard to explain in words, so please watch the screencast I recorded. To put it simply: if a text block has a font other than the default (Myriad), and you want to navigate the text using the arrow keys, each time you click the button, the font in the panels changes to the default font and then back. The new letters have the correct font, although this does impact performance, especially for large texts.

ファイルを開き直すとカーニングがリセットされる
.aiファイルでデザインを作成し保存、ファイルを一度閉じてから再び開くと、特定のテキストのカーニング設定がリセットされます。
発生条件は不明ですが、今のところファイル中に1つだけ現れています。
ただし、いろいろ設定をいじって一つを解決すると、別の場所に新たに発生する可能性があります（これは作業前に全ての問題を把握してから取り掛からなかったのではじめから2箇所の問題があったのかもしれません）。現時点では対処法が見つかっていないので、目を皿にして入稿チェックデータを確認し、見つけ次第直し、の繰り返ししかありません。
後から修正のできない印刷物にとっては重大な問題ですので、調査と修正をお願いしたいです。

Illustrator Beta Font Selection Panel Disappearing Problem
When the pop-up font preferences panel opens, which is an easy selection area, the window that opens to select a font disappears when hovering over it with the mouse. The font preference preview panel closes before making a selection. It occurred after the last update.

保存後、再度開くと文字スタイルがリセットかつ適用できない箇所が一部発生
文字スタイルの不具合が２点。
いずれも、クラウドドキュメント（.aic）で保存したファイルを、次の日開いたら発生。適用していた文字スタイル（標準文字スタイル）が解除され、再度どの文字スタイルを選択しても適用されない
適用していた文字スタイル（標準文字スタイル）の部分が文字化けし、設定していないフォントに書き換えられる
正直、保存→ファイルを開くだけで、こんな不具合が出るのは非常に困ります。尚且つ、1.の再度文字スタイルが選べない = 復旧できないは致命的です。
XDに近い、テキストスタイルはとても便利な機能なので、早急に安定活用できるよう改善お願いいたします。[添付]
1. 選択箇所のように、サイズ10級にしていた箇所が、フォント種、サイズなどめちゃめちゃになり、スタイルの再設定もできない- 1.と同様の「標準文字スタイル」箇所が勝手に他のフォントに設定され、尚且つ文字化けを起こしている

Why the the FONT i used are NOT LONGER AVALIABLE in Adobe premiere pro?
Hi Adobe community, a few weeks ago I updated a new Adobe Premiere version and since then the font I was using has changed and I can no longer find it among those available. The fonts I need are: Algerian, BlackadderlITC-Regual, Garamond-Italic, Onyx. I try to find these fonts as if they were extensions from the official Adobe page but I couldn't find the Algerian font in this way either... Can anyone help me or give me advice? Thanks a lot!

Now the Space Bar Doesn't Work for Text in Mac Sequoia
Every time I launch AI on a Mac Sequoia OS, something in AI will not work right. This morning, the spacebar no longer adds space between words in text. What's so frustrating is you never know what shortcut/tool will fail when using Adobe products in Mac Sequoia OS. Please fix these problems. Thank you.

Eyedropper set to pickup character style and color, changes text color.
Can anyone please explain why this happens? It has bugged me for a long time. I have the eyedropper clearly set to pickup the color as well as character style. It always reverts to black.

Font Selection Panel Stuck on top of the Artboard/Application
Selecting font panel is stuck on the screen. Tried 'Reset Essentials' but the font panel does not go away. Able to work on the artboard and its contents like normal but the font selection panel is irresponsive to attempts in moving it. When going in Properties panel and changing font of a text there, the dropdown is bugged out (can only change font if you type font name).
Only after quitting application did the font selection panel disappear.

Braille fonts are displaying incorrectly after latest update (29.1)
After doing the latest update, one particular font I use is displaying at a different spacing to what it was in the previous versions of illustrator and is incorrect.
Its a slight difference but I deal with braille on medicine so this is required to be very accurate. I have attached an example but am unable to upload the font, which is a unique braille font for our company.
I have gone back to the previous version of Illustrator for now to resolve this.
